The Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy is affiliated to the University of Delhi. The primary aim of the Institute is to provide high quality education and training programs for those who are practitioners of Physiotherapy. The teaching faculty incorporate both classroom & laboratory based techniques when teaching. Formal learning is thus combined with hands-on training.

Curriculum


The curriculum of the course has been so designed as to train the graduate to be competent in patient management. The various bio-behavioral sciences which are covered in the curriculum ensures that the graduate is prepared for current levels of actual practice as well as be prepared to adapt to various changes in the field over the coming years.



Duration


The course is a full-time program of 4 ½ years. This includes 6 months of mandatory internship.

Eligibility requirements


You must have scored a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in aggregate of 4 subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English core) at the 10+2 examination.

Exams


The pass percentage is 50% for both theory and practical examinations. An annual exam will be conducted at the end of each academic year.
Internship features: You will undergo 950 hours of supervised Physiotherapy clinical practice for 6 months at any hospital, center or institute which is recognized by the college. During this internship, you will be evaluated on the basis of your clinical performance. The marks which you score during your internship will be added to your scores in the annual exam.

1. Enrolment Fee: Rs. 300/-
2. Annual examination fee & Supplementary exam fee as per University rules
3. There are also small amount fees for sports, the health center, NSS fund, etc which have to be given when applicable.
4. College admission fee: RS 1,000.00
5. Library Security Deposit Fee: RS 4,000.00 (this will be refunded on successful completion of the course, on handing over the receipt).
6. Library fee: Rs. RS 2,000.00
7. Caution Money: 3,000.00 Refundable On Successful Completion Of Course
8. Tution FEE: RS 31,500.00 Per Annum For 1st Year–4th Year Students
9. Laboratory Fee: RS 18,000.00
10. Other Charges: 10,500.00
11. Development Fee: Development Fee Per Annum
