Jaipur National University (JNU) has announced admissions for its Post Graduate for this academic year. In addition to its undergraduate programs, the university offers a wide variety of PG courses in various disciplines, including arts, science, pharmacy, management, education etc.

The Jaipur National University (JNU) was set up in 2007 and has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

PG Programs with admissions through Entrance Test


M.Tech in Embedded System, Communication & Signal Processing


Eligibility: You should be a B.Tech. graduate with minimum 55% marks

M. Tech (Computer Science)


Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: You should be a B.Tech (CS/IT) graduate / MCA / M.Sc (CS/IT) with a minimum score of 55%. In addition, you should have at least 2 years minimum experience in the IT industry or academics field.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)


Duration: 2 years

What you will learn: Not only will you grasp the theoretical formulations, but also learn how to apply them in the real world. You will develop oral and written skills and go on field visits as part of your training.

MBA (Honours)


Duration: 2 years program

What you will learn: During the 4-semester program, you will get a specialized education which incorporates both academic excellence & professional thinking for a career in the corporate sector.

MBA (Dual Specialization)


Duration: 2 years program offered to students of other disciplines such as pharmacy, hotel management, engineering and life sciences.

What you will learn: You will get to specialize in 2 functional areas and thus hone your management skills to take up a career in the corporate world.



Master of Computer Application (MCA)


Duration: 3 years course

Eligibility: You should be a graduate in any stream with a minimum score of 50% and with Maths as one of the subjects either at 10+2 level or at the graduation level.

M.Sc. Bioinformatics


Duration: 2 years program

What you will learn: The course incorporates concepts of comparative genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, cellomics and metabolic engineering. Learning the computational tools & methods in these fields will enable you to apply IT and computer science concepts to deal with varied problems in Life Sciences, such as in health care, renewable energy, environment protection etc.

M.Sc. Biotechnology


Duration: 2 years program

What you will learn: You will grasp the theoretical and practical aspects of biotechnology as applicable in various fields such as pharma, nanotechnology, agriculture, textiles, etc.

Duration: 2 years program

M.Sc. Chemistry


Duration: 2 years program

Curriculum: study of composition, properties, constitution, and mutual interaction of different kinds of matter.

Scope: You can land a job in a government organization, an industrial firm or R & D organizations.

Eligibility: You should have scored at least 55% aggregate in graduation from any stream of Life Sciences.

M.Ed.

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility: Second Division at Graduation level

Curriculum: All aspects of social work education. The 4- semester program includes classroom and field learning modules. The field work includes organizational visits, field work at social welfare agencies, rural camps, etc.

On successful completion of the course, the student can apply for admissions to the Ph.D. program directly instead of first doing M.Phil.
