About College
Dravidian University Kuppam was established under the Legislature Act (no 17 of 1997) at Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh by the State Government of Andhra pradesh. The main objective of the Dravidian University is the linguist and cultural integration among the people at national and international levels. The Dravidian University was established with a goal to strengthen the national integrity through providing knowledge in science and technology, culture, literature and knowledge in understanding Dravidian languages. This university not only offers both part-time and full-time courses in M.Phil and Ph.D, but also offers some additional courses like philosophy, computer science, telugu, tamil, kannada, history, physical education, english, tulu, linguistics, bio-technology, chemistry, Rural Development Management, zoology, social work, statistics, library and management.Administration

Candidates who have passed their PG with 55% are eligible for getting admission into Dravidian University. SC/ST candidates are given 5% marks as concession. For eligibility to get admission into Dravidian University candidates should qualify (DURCET) Entrance Test conducted by Dravidian University.
Note: There will be exemption for the candidates who are qualified for GATE/UGC NET/ SLET/ CSIR, these candidates are not eligible.Application process
Application form for the courses M.Phil and Ph.D should be different i.e., the candidates applying for M.Phil should use one application form and for Ph.D the other form. Application fee is Rs. 500 for general candidates and Rs. 400 for Sc/ST.PH candidates. Candidates can obtain applications and prospectus from the Office of the Dean, Academic Affairs, Dravidian University, Kuppam-517426 either in person

The entrance exam will be for 2 hours and it consists of 120 multiple choice questions. The exam paper language will be depending on subject of the paper. You can visit the official website for more details about entrance exam.Procedure of Admission
Admission procedure into M.Phil and Ph.D is based on Entrance Test Rank. The Reservation according to state wise is implemented in the admission of M.Phi or Ph.D candidates as per the Government of Andhra pradesh policy. The reservations for candidates from Kerala, Karnataka, Pondicherry and Tamilnadu is 10%. The admission procedure in to M.Phil or Ph.D is based on seats available, i.e at time admission available seats may be increased or decreased when candidates cancel their admission or change their course.
