The Institute of Technology and Management (ITM University), Gurgaon is a self-financed University established by the Haryana State Legislature through Act 25 of 2009. The University was founded as an affiliated engineering Institute in the year 1996. A year after, it got the prestige to become the first independent Multidisciplinary University in Haryana. The university has got recognition by the UGC under Section 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. It has highly qualified faculty members in each discipline. ITM University has been ranked as the number 1 University in Haryana and NCR by CSR - GHRDC Engineering colleges Survey 2013 and by Outlook - MDRA Top professional colleges survey 2013.
Campus, classrooms and labs
The campus of University is spread over an area of about 10 acres. The surrounding is fascinating with beautiful gardens and fountains. The campus is centrally air- conditioned and provide WI-FI facility. The classrooms are designed aiming at giving best seating arrangements, lights and ventilation. The classrooms are also equipped with audio-video aids and LCD projectors. There is 100% backup of electricity in case of power cuts. The computer labs have more than 700 computers where the students are allowed to work till late evening in order to complete their projects. The students also have access to workshops till late evenings.
The library of ITM University is fully air-conditioned with a separate, spacious reading room attached to it. It contains more than 5000 books. There is also an additional book bank that have more than 2000 books. Along with these, it has a great number of e books and e- journals. There is a multimedia section in the library that has 20 modern computers with web facility to search books. The closing time of library is 8:00 pm which enables the students to visit it after classes are over. During exams it remains open till 9:00 pm.
The University provides for medical facility with its medical rooms where two medical officers have been appointed to take care of the health problems of the students. ITM University has signed a MOU with the Columbia Asia Hospital situated only one kilometres away from the campus to give medical facilities to students and faculties which also includes Ambulance during emergencies.
Sports and recreation
Students get to involve in variety of sports like Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, Cricket, Carom, Badminton and Tennis in the campus. The University has very good arrangements for all these sports. The University has a special arrangement for playing cricket during the night.
There are a total of 5 girl's hostels and 1 boy's hostel near the campus. The hostels can accommodate 200 students. The students are provided with transport service to university from hostels. The hostels have well furnished rooms with Wi-Fi facility. There is 24 hours electricity backup. The food service in the hostel is healthy and tasty. The students also get the intercom facility. There is also a separate recreation room and dining room. The students can avail newspaper and magazine services. There is also provision for indoor sports in the hostels. For security purpose, there are security staffs and CCTV cameras. The students get admission into the hostel on basis of merit and distance of their permanent residence from the university. For students who do not get seat into the hostel, the university assists in finding Local Paying Guest Accommodation near the University.
Other important facilities
Other facilities of University include Yoga Centre, Music Club and Photo Club. On admission the students are given detailed information about academic facilities, examinations, discipline, placement, grading system etc. The students are also provided with a diary that contains all useful instructions and information about their course, syllabus etc. which is very helpful for fresher student.
Eligibilty criteria for BBA/ B.com/Bsc (Economic Hons.)
The candidate must be an Indian National with not more than 21 years of age as on 31st December 2013. The age printed in the class 10th mark sheet will be considered the birth date of the candidate. If a candidate has passed the equivalent examination from abroad, the age printed in Passport will be taken into consideration.
BBA: A candidates who has passed 10+2 examination conducted by CBSE or any other equivalent examination from a recognised board and has secured 60% marks in aggregate in best five subjects or equivalent grade is eligible to apply for the BBA programme in ITM University. The medium of study in the qualifying examination must be English. Rounding of marks such as 59.9% to 60% is not permitted.
B.com/Bsc (Economic Hons.): A candidates who has passed 10+2 examination conducted by CBSE or any other equivalent examination from a recognised board and has secured 60% marks in aggregate in best five subjects or equivalent grade with Mathematics/Economics/Commerce as one of the subjects is eligible to apply for the B.com/Bsc (Economic Hons.) programme in ITM University. The medium of study in the qualifying examination must be English. Rounding of marks such as 59.9% to 60% is not permitted
A candidate who has passed his/her equivalent examination from an overseas board, must submit a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) along with application.
For BBA Programme: Candidates will be selected for admission on basis of percentage scored in 10+2 and a personal interview conducted by the universities. The candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview. The names of shortlisted candidates for interview will be displayed on official website of the University and at the notice board of the ITM University campus. After this, final list for merit cum admission will be displayed on official website of the University and at the notice board of the ITM University campus
For B.COM/BSC Economic (Hons.): Candidates will be selected on basis of percentage scored in 10+2. They do not need to appear for the interview. Their names will be displayed in the merit cum admission list on official website of the University and at the notice board of the ITM University campus.
This selection procedure do not apply to child of NRI and Kashmiri migrants.

Definition of categories
General: An Indian national from any part of the country who satisfies minimum eligibility criteria.
Haryana Category: A candidate who is a resident of Haryana or has passed Degree or equivalent examination from a recognized University/Institute in Haryana and satisfies the minimum eligibility criteria. The candidates of Haryana Category, if secures seat under general category on the basis of their merit will still avail all benefits of Haryana category including fee concession.
Child of NRI: The applicant must be a child of a Non Resident Indian as under Income Tax Act and must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria. Students from SAARC countries can also apply under this category. Students under this category will pay a higher fee. The candidates will be admitted on' first come first served' basis.Students from SAARC countries can only apply through offline mode for which they will have to visit the university and obtain application form. The International students can get NRI/ International Student form online and submit it.
Kashmiri migrants: One seat will be reserved for Kashmiri Migrants. They must produce the original certificate of migration signed by the competent authority or Relief Commissioner.
Students whose names appear in admission list, must deposit their first semester fee in full before the last date to secure admission. Students must retain their receipt for every payment made as a proof of payment.

How to apply online for BBA Programme in ITM University
For online submission of forms candidates can scan and submit all related documents along with form.
After successful submission of forms, candidates will get a confirmation through email. A candidate who do not receive the email can contact +91-8587976895 for assistance.
If a candidate wish to send the related documents directly to the University, he/she can do this by post or in person before last date of submission. He/she must also send the print-out of the email confirmation along with the documents.
How to apply offline
Application forms can be obtained from the university on payment of Rs. 500/-. The candidates can then fill the form and submit it with related documents.

The application form must be submitted to the University before last date of submission by post or in person. If the form is submitted in person the candidate is required to pay Rs. 500/- in cash. If the form is sent by post. It should be accompanied by a Demand draft of Rs. 500- in favour 'ITM University Gurgaon' payable at Gurgaon/Delhi. The candidate must write his/her full name, address and mobile number on the back of the demand draft.
Application forms can also be obtained by post . For this, candidates should address an envelope to ‘Chairman – Admission Committee, School of Management'. Candiadte should provide his/her postal address and send a Demand draft of Rs. 500- in favour ‘ITM University Gurgaon' payable at Gurgaon/Delhi. The candidate must write his/her full name, address and mobile number on the back of the demand draft. The duly filled application along with related documents must be sent to university by post or in person before last date of submission.

Merit cum Means fee concession
Some selected students from the Haryana category will be given merit cum means fee concession. These students need to pay the full fees at the beginning of the semester and the amount of their concession will be returned through a crossed cheque in name of the students only.
Students need to have a laptop of their own for the three programmes. A candidate who is not aware of the use of laptops will be trained by the institute for this purpose.
The candidates who are joining the course after a gap must submit the valid reason of their gap in their own handwriting
