The classes for the course will be conducted at he IIT-Delhi campus only on weekends. This course is being organized by the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management.

Overview

The course gives students an insight into the telecom industry by providing education & training on the managerial and telecom concepts of this industry. You will not only learn the basic principles of Telecom Management but will also get a detailed outlook of the telecommunications market & future trends of the sector.

Syllabus

There are 3 modules of the program:

First module includes: Telecom management concepts, Business economics & accounting, Signal systems, Analog communications, Concepts of digital communications, Broadband communications & networking, etc.

Second module includes: Telecom administration, Project management, Enterprise support systems, Wireless, Mobile application development, Retail & distribution Management, etc.

Third module includes: Development of entrepreneurship Development, making project reports and presentations, etc.

Towards the end of the program, you will be preparing a project report and presenting it.

Duration and Schedule

The course will be conducted from 1st September 2013 to 28th February 2014.

Class Schedule: The classes will be conducted on weekends, on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Class Timings: Saturday -5:30p.m. to 8.30p.m./ Sunday - 9:30a.m. to 12.30noon

The fee for the course is Rs 65,000/- which can be paid only by Demand Draft (DD) in favour of "FITT, IIT Delhi", payable at Delhi.
