INR(Indian National Rupee)symbol was designed by D Udaya Kumar on 15 July 2010. The symbol is a combination of Devanagari letter of "rupee" and Latin letter of "R" with two parallel line. Now it has been official currency of the Republic of India.
How can I write INR symbol on my Microsoft Office Word?
Some times we thought if there is a solution for writing INR symbol. We have latest version of Microsoft office like Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office 2010 & even Microsoft Office 2013 launched successfully. But INR symbol not available on those Microsoft Office versions. In office work/some other institute we must insert INR symbol for business purpose/other reason.Suppose, you are the owner of a cyber cafe. A man came to you and said he need to print a bill. He had requested that the Indian currency symbol he want to attach. If you do not know the process then you will say that it is not possible. But if you know it, you will not have any problems.So it's essential for us to know the process of inserting of INR symbol. Also you can put your INR symbol in Microsoft Excel also. There are many tricks for your knowledge.
So here is a solution for you. You must do some jobs step by step.
Step 1: download a small file from the link which I have mentioned(just copy the link & pest it to your browser's address bar, hit enter.)
Step 2: After completing the download, locate the file & extract it to your desktop(you must have winrar). when extracting finishes, copy it.
Step 3: Go to Start option. Now click on Run.... Type control and hit enter.

Step 4: If you are in a Category view then chose to Classic view.

Step 5: Here you can see "Fonts" option. Open it & pest the copied file here.
(Or either you can go to My Computer->C drive(system drive)->WINDOWS.0->Fonts

Step 6: Go to Microsoft office word document.(Just Right Click on your desktop and click on New and Microsoft Office Word Document. Now Double click on the created New Microsoft Office Word Document

Step 7: Go to Inert->Symbol->More Symbol

Step 8: Here you can see "Font" with drop down list. Click on drop down list & Select "Rupee Foradian". After that you will also see a Subnet option with a drop down list. Select Basic Latin.
Step 8: Now you can see (INR) symbol.
Step 9: Now click on (INR) symbol and click on "Insert".
Now you can see Indian National Rupee on your Microsoft word.
