VITEEE 2014 Notification for engineering admissions into various courses was realised by Vellore Institute of Technology famous known as VIT. All students who fulfil the admission criteria can apply with in due dates. For complete procedure on how to apply, course offered and ways to apply, important dates see below.

Vellore Institute of Technology has invited applications for bachelor degree and master degree programs for admissions into 2014 batch through VITEEE 2014 entrance test. Interested candidates can apply within due dates. Here is the list of programs and procedure to follow while applying for these courses.

List of programs offered in Bachelor degree:

  1. B.Tech. Civil Engineering
  2. B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering
  3. B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Energy Engineering)
  4. B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Chemical Process Engineering)
  5. B.Tech. Mechanical with specialization in Automotive Engineering (jointly with ARAI, Pune)
  6. B.Tech. Production & Industrial Engineering
  7. B.Tech. Biomedical Engineering
  8. B.Tech. Biotechnology.


  1. Qualifying Examination:
  2. Those who pass 10+2 and its equal course recognized by state board, central board(CBSE), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi).
  3. Nationality:
  4. The applicant for admission should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National.
  5. Age Limit:
  6. Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1992 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2014. The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counseling, failing for which they will be disqualified. And admissions to particular course are based on marks secured in VITEEE2014 entrance exam.
There are two types of procedures:
  1. online application.
  2. Offline application.
  3. Those who want to apply online can visit there site
  4. Application cost in Rs. 925/-.
  5. Candidates can pay through internet banking or by using your credit card or debit cards respectively.
  6. For offline application candidates can buy the applications from there nearby post offices.

  8. Application cost in rupees 975 by a Demand Draft draw in favor of "VIT UNIVERSITY " payable at Vellore within due dates.
  9. CERTIFICATE TO PROVE NATIVITY should be produced at the time of counseling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
  10. Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for all the 14 B.Tech Programs.
  11. Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible for B.Tech. Bio-Medical Engineering and Biotechnology programs. They are also eligible for B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Spec. in Bioinformatics) but after joining, registering Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory.
