How to prepare for JEE Mains within 15 days time
Planning to crack JEE Mains next year? Don't worry we have a plan for you to prepare JEE Main exam in a span of 15 days. JEE Mains are conducted every year in the month of April for entrance to prestigious institutions in India. Here's a pattern that will guide you to prepare JEE Mains within a month or even 15 days of time while ensuring that you crack the exam with maximum score.
A definite study plan is always ensured while preparing for heavy-weight exams like JEE, CAT or even GATE. The most important characteristic that defines your plan is the speed at which you approach your topics and program those in your brains. The method is simple and straightforward – Complete the topics well before the deadlines. This surely tests your mentality and ability to match up with your exam preparation. Sometimes you might well be on the losing side when it becomes draining for you to match up with the timings. Read below to know your strengths and applying those during the examination time.Be habitual with your subjects – Synchronize your strengths
Sometimes knowing what your strength, makes you realise your mistakes. So know your subjects well and what makes it difficult for you to score in key areas. You might believe that you will rush through the course in last two months to ensure greater credibility during the exams. That might not be a true sense to learn while you actually keep losing key moments to plans and prepare yourself for big numbers to come. Here when we talk about JEE Mains, three subjects immediately appear in our mind – Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
These subjects may not always be a headache considering you make it feel so. The next thing knowing your strengths and bringing it to perfection would be preparing your core subject. If your favourite subject is Maths, rub your skills to the best to prepare for it. This is the best medicine to get one subject done while possessing your passionate subjects! Difficult parts will come later, but making sure you perceive the easier ones easily is what makes you step forward to the next level.Schedule your subjects and be committed to plans
The most important part begins now – Scheduling and planning. As I said earlier, you need to know your own subject you like the most, so prophesize yourself more on that, rather than attempting your hatred ones! Schedule your important topics if you are preparing during the last 15 days. Do the most important, always asked topics for all three subjects. Plan your subject dates appropriately because difficult ones generally take more time than the easier subjects. Always keep a 60 40 ratio for getting a better idea of your difficult subjects.
I personally felt Chemistry a lot easier than the other two. Maths was the middleman while I never felt like doing Physics. It varies from person to person, so just remember that you need to finish up your core subject before attempting a 15 day plan. You will remain with just 2 subjects at the dead end which will still give you immense confidence to crack JEE Mains atleast! Revise already read topics of Board exams
During the course of your 15 days preparation, revise whatever you read during your Board exams. Some topics might be useful, some not, so keep track of your JEE Mains syllabus for each subjects. CBSE Students feel bar better than any other boards mainly due to their course matching exactly similar to the course contents of JEE. This is where maximum students from CBSE crack it successfully. However for any other student, it's their revision of board syllabus.
When you are done with your revision, see what's left in the JEE Course contents which has not been covered. Read a bit about that, and start solving few questions from exercise part to test your skills. This part needs to be covered for all subjects within 10 days of time. You can now ensure yourself covering atleast 60 to 65 percent syllabus.Solve previous years papers and keep attempting difficult questions
The last 5 days finally arrives before sitting for your JEE Mains. Here's a time when every student is busy solving previous year's papers. Make sure you download them and have a copy of their solutions for reference. Whatever syllabus you know, attempt question from JEE Mains previous years. Attempt questions of AIEEE and IIT-JEE papers from 2005 to 2012. Questions in JEE Mains will be tricky, and you need to be clever enough to catch those tricks behind. So keep attempting lots of questions probably set a target of 400 questions per day which includes all subjects.
Yes it's not an easy task, but you are left with no option. When you observe a particular question is asked repeatedly every year with different forms, highlight those and move on. Keep the solutions ready so that you can catch your mistakes readily. It will improve you on the grounds of attempting difficult question. If you follow it properly, you are ensured to cross the cut off for JEE Mains with ease. There's no difficulty in crossing that!
So the main motto you need to keep in mind – Pre-pare the subject that possesses your strength so that you can enter 15 days period with just 2 subjects to be done. You can refer the third subject during the last 5 days. This will easily give you a score of over 120 in JEE Mains, which is enough to be in prestigious NIT these days!

No need for next year you can do but depends on you.
