Now the question is, whether search engine stored and indexed the webpage or blog content that crawled recently after it was published? Generally note that the search engine crawls the content for fresh publishing posts on the webpage or blog and tries to store the content which is of high quality or unique or on demand or no duplicate or no violation etc.

The Publisher/Writer might be lucky enough in case if his/her post gets crawled and stored in their search tools for current and future indexing of the content. The content which doesn't get stored by a search engine after crawling is and indicator that something is wrong from the publisher's or author's end or bad luck in case if it is good one. It normally ignores when the content is copied or duplicate or already available.

How to increase organic traffic then

Hopefully you have understood the process of search engine crawling, storing and indexing the content. So, your publishing content must fulfill all these three steps to get organic traffic in a simple manner. If your webpage content doesn't meet one of the above steps, then you will lose organic traffic to your content. If your webpage content is of unique or high quality or new things, then your content will automatically meet all the above three steps which would eventually help your content on organic or natural traffic.

The content you are going to publish must be well presented and useful for online visitors to stay for a long duration. However your content is going to be crawled soon once you are publishing it and the concern is whether it is going to be stored by the search engine for indexing them later, which is the main subject over here. The content will be of course stored if the content published is in favour of search engine algorithm; thus we need to understand the search engine algorithm to make sure that our post is going to stay for a long after crawls. This is the only way we can get permanent and increasing traffic to our webpage.

For some blogger or webmaster, the more the traffic, the more the chances of Ads or Commercial revenue. The low traffic blog or website will lose the attention, losing traffic and losing commercial ads revenue too. Some publishers' concern is what is the reason for Ads revenue slow down? whether their blog or website's received traffic or not. There are many scenarios to explain on this. A few of the key points are as follows-
1. No valid clicks from visitors even though the blog got reasonable page-views or traffic.
2. No content matching the Search Engine Algorithm. SEO is important here.
3. No new things or no new topic published which search engines need.
4. Poor search engine optimization with the need to improve it.

However, it may vary for the different topic posts with the same scenario abiding search algorithm; for e.g. if one publishes the article related to short term search like 'exam dates' or 'exam result' then it may be crawled, stored and indexed on temporary basis only and it will not get good amount of traffic or increasing number of page views for a long duration though the content is of high quality and adhering search engine policy.

Now you would have understood on how to handle the content or post to publish to get reasonable benefits from search engines to increase webpage traffic.
