Readers should note that the Education Department of the Maharashtra Government has given permission to schools to cancel admissions of children admitted to kindergarten class if they have also admitted students in Class 1. It seems that the State Government will not reimburse schools for RTE students in kindergarten and hence this notification was issued earlier this week.
