Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar Ahmedabad has notified admission for M.Tech programme 2015. For this admission the application portal will open from 13 March 2015. Application form submission last date is 03 April 2015. Written test and interview will begin from 08 May to 11 may and the selected candidates list will open on 20 May 2015. Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech programme 2015
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech programme 2015 will be 55% marks/5.5 (on a 10 point scale) in B.E. / B.Tech or equavalant in appropriate branches but 50% for Sc/St candidates. Students with valid GATE score are also eligible for apply. Eligibility criteria for Sc/St candidates will be according to the reservation rules of government. B.Tech candidates with CGPA/CPI of 8.0 or above(on scale of 10) are eligible without appearing in GATE. Sponsored by their employer and regular M. Tech candidates can also apply for it.What about admission procedure
On the basis of academic records and/or GATE score limited students will be call for written test and interview. The institution will have right to select or reject application on the basis of information provided by the candidates. The final selection will be based on academic records, GATE score, written test and interview. The institution can select a few outstanding candidates on the basis or their academic record and/or GATE. Candidates who will not qualify in written test will not be called for interview.What about written test
General aptitude type question will be asked in written test. General aptitude will have questions related to logical reasoning, analytical and numerical ability.
