  • Students should have physics as main subject and mathematics as subsidiary subject in their B.Sc. degree
  • Students who belongs to SC/ST categories should have 50% marks in their B.Sc. degree or (CGPA-5.5/10 or equivalent score.


M.Sc. Degree in chemistry


Students are eligible for admission if they have the qualification listed below:
  • Students should be eligible for admission, if they have their Bachelor's Degree with Chemistry (main) with Mathematics as one of the subsidiaries
  • Students are eligible for admission if they have their bachelors degree through Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics(three main system)
  • students are eligible for admission if they have their bachelor's degree with 60% marks or (CGPA-6.5% or equivalent score
  • SC/ST categories candidates should have their bachelor's degree with 50% marks and (CGPA-5.5/10 or equivalent score/
  • students who are appearing in their final year semester can also apply for admission. Such students will get provisionary admission
  • Provisionary admission will be cancelled, if students fail in their final year semester

  • Selection will be done on the basic of the performance of students in their Entrance Test or Interview
  • The Institution will hold Entrance Test or Interview for admission

  • students can download their Half-Tickets and Call-Letters from the official website

The amount of demand draft for general category and OBC category student is Rs 600/- but Rs. 300/- is necessary for ST/SC students. Demand draft should be in favour of "the Director NIIt Calicut" and payable at Calicut.
