Why TIN/ VAT/ CST number is required for all other marketplaces for selling but not ebay.in, can you please explain? Is ebay.in doing legal business as a marketplace by giving such exception to its sellers?

Well, I do appreciate the author for giving the details on how we connect with the on line marketing companies to promote our product. In this regard I wish to state that it is not that easy for any manufacturing company to agree to the terms of online portals. They insist that ample stock of the selling products be stored at the online company godown for which they won't pay any money. This clause may shy away many companies for selling through online marketing because when products are dumped in godown, they may get older and even expiry date elapses. Moreover the companies won't be getting any returns and that would be dead stock in future. That is the reason why so many companies are opening their own websites for marketing and for that they need not worry about the demurrage.
