About WBCHSE and H.S. examination West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education was set up by the Govt. of West Bengal to take care of education system in the 10+2 standard in West Bengal. The council is responsible as well as holds the power to administer, supervise and control all activities related to the higher secondary education in the state.
The higher secondary education generally performs role of intermediate platform between secondary standard and the degree programs. After successful completion of Secondary examination students aged, generally, 16 – 18 years take admission in higher secondary course and on completion of the same they may further enroll in any degree course either in general or professional.
Results publishing date and timing The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has published a notice signed by Mr. Subrata Ghosh, Secretary of the council, in their official website on 27th April 2016 stating that Higher Secondary examination results 2016 will be published at 10:00 a.m. on 16th May 2016, Monday which had been organized by them in the month of February 2016 .
Mark sheets of examination, certificates and all other relevant documents will be handed over to the authorized representatives of Higher Secondary Institutions at 10:30 a.m. onwards on the same date from their respective Distribution Camp after public announcement of HSC results of Uchcha Madhyamik 2016.
