How to register for Chartered Accountants IPC, Final and Post Qualification courses exams 2015

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), which is the regulatory authority for the profession of Chartered Accountants in India, has announced the November 2015 schedule for the next Chartered Accountants Intermediate Professional Competence (IPC), Final and Post-Qualification exams. Examinations in Post Qualification Courses will also be conducted in November 2015.

List of exams and schedule

Intermediate (IPC) exam

  1. Group-I: 2nd November, 4th November, 6th November and 8th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

  2. Group-II: 10th November, 13th November and 15th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

Final exam

  1. Group-I: 1st November, 3rd November, 5th November and 7th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

  2. Group-II: 9th November, 12th November, 14th November and 16th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

Note: Those appearing for IPC and Final exams can opt for Hindi medium for answering the exam papers.

Management Accountancy Courses

3 exams, namely the Management Accountancy Course (MAC) Part – I, Corporate Management Course (CMC) Part – I and Tax Management Course (TMC) Part – I, will be scheduled as follows:
  1. Group-I: 9th November and 12th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

  2. Group-II: 14th November and 16th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) exam

Modules I to IV: 9th November, 12th November, 14th November and 16th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

International Trade Laws and World Trade Organization (ITL&WTO) exam

  1. Group A: 2nd November, 4th November and 6th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

  2. Group B: 8th November, 10th November and 13th November 2015. Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.

Note: The medium of examinations will be only English for all the above Post Qualification courses.

  1. Those of you who are appearing for the Intermediate (IPC) examination with the exam center selected at Dubai /Abu Dhabi/Muscat should remit a fee of US$ 420 or your equivalent Indian Currency irrespective of whether you are appearing in a group or in both the groups or in a unit.

  2. Those of you who are appearing for the Final examination with the exam center selected at Dubai /Abu Dhabi/Muscat should remit a fee of US$ 480 or your equivalent Indian currency irrespective of whether you are appearing in a group or in both the groups or in a unit.

  3. Those who are appearing for the Intermediate (IPC) exam with the exam center selected at Kathmandu should remit Indian Rupee (INR) 2700/- or your equivalent foreign currency irrespective of whether you are appearing in a group or in both the groups or in a unit.

  4. Those who are appearing for the Final exam opting for Examination with the exam center selected at Kathmandu should remit Indian Rupee (INR) 3600/- or your equivalent foreign currency irrespective of whether you are appearing in a group or in both the groups or in a unit.

How to apply

  1. Candidates can submit application through online mode at: http://icaiexam.icai.org

  2. If you are applying through the online mode and remit the fee online from 4th August, 2015 to 25th August, 2015 by using either VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card, you do not need to pay the application form cost of Rs.1000. However, you will need to remit additional Rs.600/- towards late fee in case you make the online application after 25th August 2015 and upto 1st September, 2015.

  3. You can also apply in the prescribed form, copies of which are available on payment of Rs.1000/- for IPC and Final exam from: The Deputy Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, 'ICAI BHAWAN', Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110 002. The exam application form for IRM has to be filled up in the paper based form only & the cost is Rs.100/- per application form. The forms will also be made available in the Regional and Branch Offices of the Institute and can be obtained there on cash payment from 4th August, 2015.

  4. Fees should be paid by Demand Draft (DD) only (DD can be of any Scheduled Bank), drawn in favour of The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, payable at New Delhi only.
    You application along with the prescribed fee by DD must be sent so as to reach the Deputy Secretary (Examinations) at New Delhi not later than 25th August, 2015. In case you are unable to meet this deadline, you application will be accepted at the Delhi office after 25th August 2015 and upto 1st September 2015 with a late fee of Rs.600/-.

  5. Applications for the students' exams will also be accepted by hand delivery at the office of Institute at New Delhi and at the Decentralised Offices of the Institute at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Nagpur, Pune, Surat, Thane and Vadodara up to 1st September 2015.

  6. Application forms for the Post Qualification Course exams, namely MAC Part – I, CMC Part – I, TMC Part – I, IRM and ITL & WTO will be accepted only at the New Delhi office of the Institute.
    The candidates who apply online at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 4th August, 2015 to 25th August, 2015 and remit the fee online by using either VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card shall not be charged 1000/- in case of Intermediate (IPC) & Final Examination (i.e. cost of application form fee). They shall however, be required to remit additional 600/- towards late fee in case the application online is made after 25th August 2015 and upto 1st September, 2015.
