Overview
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for the academic session 2016-17 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The aim of NEET-2016 is for the 15% All India quota merit positions in the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in the directives of the Supreme Court. Rules & regulations for it will be as per those issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Admissions in the medical colleges and dental colleges in various States will also come under NEET if the State Government/University/Institution is a participant of NEET- 2016 for using its merit list for its admissions.States and Institutes participating in NEET-2016

Note that if you have already appeared for the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and for the State Common Entrance Test (CET), then too you can apply for NEET-2016.
