According to 2011 census report Hinduism is largest religion in India. India's languages , religions , dance , music, architecture, food, and customs differs from place to place within the country. In India, Traditional and customary practices are very important part of Indian culture. Joint family system in our society is very important part of our culture. In respect, we touch the feet of all elders, holy men and women. There are many classic and folk dance farms. Some of the folk and classical dance farms are Kathak, Kathakali, Mohiniattam, kuchipudi, Yakshagana, Manipuri, odissi, sattriya, Bharatanatyam, Bhangra, Bihu, Chhau, Garba, Dandiya, Lavani. Music is a very important part of Indian culture. There are many types of music in India. Those types are Indian Classical music, Folk music, Filmi, Indian pop, Indian rock. Pulluvan pattu, Veena, Sitar, Ektara, Tabura, Tumbi, Pungi, Indian Harmanium, Dhol, Tabla, Nagara are some of the Indian musical instruments. Dhoti, Pajama, Lungi, Kurta, Angarkha, Sherwani, Bandhgala and jama are traditional clothes for men. Sari, gagra choli, salwar kameez, mekhela sador are traditional clothes for women. Diwali, Holi, Dusshera, Navratri, Durga puja, Krishna janmastami, Ganesh chaturthi, Gurupurv, Raksha Bandan, Bihu, Hemis onam, Pongal, Maha Shivaratri, Ram Navami, Hanuman jyanti, Eid, Christmas, New year are the major festivals in India.

Living costs and Safety

In India living costs are very low. Compared to other countries Indian's are very peace loving, middle-path arieted, happy and worm hearted. Transport, food and entertainment are all very cheap. India is relatively safe country. Crime rate is very low against international students.

Education System in India

India's education system is known for quality and excellence. It's education system offers study opportunities ranging from short term courses to Doctoral level courses. It is also known for its high educational standards. In India education is provided by public and private sector. Indian education system is based on Primary (first to fifth class), Middle (sixth to eighth class), Secondary (ninth to tenth class) Higher Secondary (eleventh to twelve class), Undergraduate according to subject and course), Postgraduate and PhD.
