How to make Rava Thalipeeth with an easy recipe

Thalipeeth is a Multi grain pan cake which is made using several flours of one's choice. There are many variations while choosing the flour to make Thalipeeth. It can just be made with Rice flour, onions, grated raddish, potato etc. Sometimes, you can mix Rice flour, wheat flour, Jowar flour and add onion, chilli and make the Thalipeeth. Thalipeeth is a very popular snack in Maharashtra and is loved by everyone for its taste.

Rava Thalipeeth is very easy to make and is made similar to other Thalipeeth with just a change in one ingredient and that is Rava. Definitely you and your family members will love the taste of it and you would definitely make it whenever possible.


  1. Time to Cook: 15 Minutes

  2. Serves: 2


  1. Fine Rava (Also called as Bombay Rava or Chiroti Rava) – 1 Cup

  2. Onion – 2 Medium size (Finely chopped)

  3. Green Chilly – 2 or 3 (Finely Chopped)

  4. Curd – 1 cup

  5. Salt to taste

Steps to make Thalieepth:

  1. Mix Rava, Onion, Chilly, salt in a bowl.

  2. Now to this mixture add curd and mix it. The consistency of this mixture should be thick.

  3. Spread some oil on tava. Now take a small amount of Rava mixture and press it on the Tava using your hands and spread some oil around it.

  4. Let it cook for 5-6 Minutes. Once it is cooked, turn aside and cook the other side until completely cooked.

  5. Once it is cooked, you can serve this delicious Rava Thelieepth with chutney.

  1. You can even use buttermilk instead of curd.

  2. You can adjust the quantity of Chilly and onion as per your taste.

  3. Use fresh curd so that it is not sour.
