Whenever the festival Dassera comes, immediately every one thinks of one place and try to imagine the festivities being carried out there. Yes I am also referring to Mysore Dassera festival. Though the ages of Kings and Queens has gone, Mysore is still having the presence of Kings Dynasty and thus they are regularly following the festive season of Dassera with much fanfare astonishing even the International community. The main attraction are the tastefully decorated elephants which are paraded and stationed in front of Maharaja Palace during the festivities. For children this is the great occasion to see decorated elephants moving with sync and their joy cannot be measured or counted. Really it takes guts to organize such festival in large scale and that too without any untoward incident.
