How to overcome introvertness

Are you an introvert? Have you faced situations where you feel left out? All introverts have come across such situations in their life. If you feel that you want to be more outgoing, more friendly, then try these small tips to come out of your introversion.

Being an introvert in this loud world is kind of difficult owing to the fast moving and creative world. Introverts are those people who are quite reserved in nature. They normally tend to be by themselves and are not that friendly with everyone, which is why they feel left out in most situations. Be it students or be it employees, an introvert person always have to face this feeling of being left out. Being an introvert is not at all bad but for us to be more productive, to be more open with people around you and for our own betterment we have to push our limits. So here are some tips that will help you become an 'Outgoing Introvert' or more precisely known as an 'Ambivert':

Start with small steps

An introvert always is insecure and fears of being judged by everyone. So what you have to do firstly is you have to start building your own confidence.Always look on the brighter side of things. Try to get out of your comfort zone and use all the opportunities you get around you.

Take the initiative

It has always been seen that an introvert is normally more of a follower than a leader. So in order for you to get out of your introversion you have to be an initiator, take the first step and try to make a conversation with new people. Be the first to smile and saying hi to anyone you know. Maybe next time they'll approach you first if you come off friendly.

Be an optimist

One of the cons of being an introvert is that they always surround themselves with negative thoughts. Stop being too hard on yourself. Start seeing things in a new light. If you start being positive and surround yourself with positive thoughts, you'll see the things in a new light.

See, Listen and Share

Introverts are always known to be 'loners' that is because they mostly keep to themselves. So to overcome this you have to go out there and mingle with people. Listen to others' thoughts and feelings and share some of your own, that way people around you will know how you are feeling and maybe even offer you a shoulder to lean on or cheerlead you.

Never be afraid to voice your opinions or in that case of enjoying solace

Always remember you are not ashamed of being an introvert but you are just trying to be a better person. You do not need to be afraid of people judging you so be bold in voicing your opinions. If you find happiness in solace than you do. What other think should not effect you. So what if you are trying to be more friendly with people, that doesn't mean you do not like being in your own company.

Gradually you'll learn to be an ambivert, a mixture of both introvert and extrovert people if you try these tips. Maybe then you can experience life a better way. Do remember, there is absolutely nothing wrong in being an introvert but yes, there is nothing wrong in trying to have a better and more social persona .

Being a introvert is the great social setback and the people would treat the person differently just because they feel that it is a waste of time to talk or say anything with the person who feels shy and wont open up. Life is for knowing and sharing many things. People get solace by sharing good moments and bad happenings in life with others. But some people prefer to be aloof and suffer the ongoing in silence and we think that they are leading a happy life. Many have the problem of shyness and also has the insecure feeling of being gagged by others. I think they should move with small children and play with them so that their confidence level would go up and that will lead to exchange of views and pleasantries with the elders and known people.

Many of us were introverts at some time or other. While most would come out of that stage by exposure and interaction with more and more people, many will remain as introverts. It is the natural shyness, hesitation or uncertainty that makes people introverts at the beginning.
