There are some similar symptoms of Dengue or Malaria or Typhoid which one can recognize the fever in the earlier stage to avoid complicated health issue further, so, read this article.

As briefed about the fever, there are different types of fever, one is normal fever or normal cold fever which can be had just for few days or less than a week if one prescribed and taken the medicine accordingly. Sometime fever or cold fever comes when and where people used to take self-medication from the medical shop. This is not the issue either.

The main issue is when someone suffering from normal fever or cold fever or fever with headache or vomiting, or fever with whole body and joint pain, fatigue for more than a week despite self-medication or prescribed by the Doctor or Health Specialist then there could be some serious fever issue like, it could be of Dengue, or Malaria, or Typhoid, or Jaundice or even other physical or nerve issue that let you suffer as fever initially till it long lasting or till anti-biotic given for it.

When Doctor advised patient to take the blood test then it could be more than normal fever, like, typhoid or dengue or malaria or otherwise. If the lab guy is given right report about the blood test and counts then no issue or else more health jeopardy for the patient. It might happen sometimes. So, it is better to know the symptoms of the fever to re-examine with the Doctor and the lab to confirm prior to its medicine intake, in case.

Sometime wrong medicine can put patient in trouble, for example, if someone has typhoid but medicine is taken related to dengue then the patient will suffer for extra days or week till the patient get the right medicine. The same story on dengue to typhoid medicine intakes as well. It means, one has to diagnose the fever exactly to cure it. The treatment or medicine little differ country to country or case to case basis.

How to recognize the Dengue or Typhoid

Symptoms are more or less similar for Dengue, Malaria and Typhoid, so, Doctor used to tell the patient to get the Blood test done to know the report to prescribe accordingly to avoid any wrong medication between them and avoid to let health in jeopardy.

The difference between Dengue fever and Typhoid is, the Dengue let you suffer on fever with high temperature for whole day except very few hours, it will force you to lie on bed with whole body pain, joint pain, fatigue and Blood platelet and Hemoglobin reducing regularly etc.

The typhoid symptom is little tricky, Widal test has to be done to recognize it. The symptom for Typhoid is, headache or non-stop headache with afternoon fever which patient can't explain or control the headache. They can't tolerate small noises sometime. Sometime no fever for few hours and again it will start; the upper area of the tongue will be thick white in color (like a powder paste).

Both the fever let you weaken and reduce weight too. Both the fever let Hemoglobin and Platelet reduces beside other said factor. The typhoid (until and unless anti-biotic is started for two or more days) won't let increase Hemoglobin and Platelets, even if supplement medication taken for it then the typhoid will reduce these counts. So, it is better to recognize the typhoid first, take its medicine for couple of days and then try for Doctor advising on food intake to increase the Hemoglobin and Platelet counts to cure and recover.
