LKG admission notification for the academic year 2017-18

The admission notification for LKG 2017-18 will be advertised in the newspapers Hindu and Ennadu on 11 December 2016 (Sunday). The details which have been released on its website are as follows.

  • The application forms for admission of students to LKG for the academic year 2017-18 are available on the website. They will be available till 17 December 2016 only.

  • Download the application form from the site and the filled in form along with the necessary documents are to be submitted to the school's administrative office within the dates 15 December 2016 to 17 December 2016. The school office will be receiving the application forms from 9:00 am to 11:30 am only, on these dates.

  • A registration fee of Rs 500/- is to be submitted at the time of submitting the application form.

  • A lottery will be conducted by the school authorities in the premises of the school on Monday, i.e. 26 December 2016 at 11:00 am. To ensure transparency, the draw will be done in the presence of the parents.

  • If the child gets selected, then the necessary fees are to be deposited by the parents in the school office from 29 December 2016 to 31 December 2016 between 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The parents will come to know of the fees at the time of registration itself.

  • Those who want to avail the school's transport facility have to opt for the appropriate transport route for the pre-primary classes in the application form itself. The option and the route is to be selected before the registration.

Age eligibility

For admission to LKG the child should be born between 2nd April 2013 to 1st April 2013. That means the child should be more than 3 years old on 1st April 2017. For proof of date of birth, a photocopy of the birth certificate of the child is to be submitted at the time of registration.

Documents to be submitted at the time of registration

  1. Registration form duly filled in
  2. Photocopy of birth certificate issued by the municipal authorities and duly attested
  3. Photocopy of Aadhaar card
  4. Two passport size photographs of the child
  5. Registration fees of Rs 500/-
  6. Bonafide certificate from last school attended (Only applicable to students seeking admission to class II and above).

A few important points worth remembering

  • The print out of the application (admission registration form) is to be taken on both sides of an executive bond paper.
  • Application forms are to be duly filled in. Incomplete forms will be rejected by the school management.
  • Registration fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • Fees are to be paid within the given timeframe. There will not be any extension of time for payment of fees. Fees once paid are not refundable except on conditions as mentioned in the prospectus.
  • Those seeking transport facilities are to opt for the same at the time of filling the registration form itself. Request for diversion or extension of route are not entertained by the school management.

Admission to other classes

  1. For admission to all other classes upto IX, the parents need to contact the school office in the 2nd week of March 2017. For all these classes admissions are subject to availability of vacancies in the said class.

  2. For admission to class XI, the application forms can be downloaded from the website address The dates for downloading the form will be put up on 1st Feb 2017. Students having passed class X from any recognized board can join class XI in the school.
