In fact, despite devoid of all publicity and great finance, there are any number of women in this country who are home makers and business entrepreneurs. Probably what they do can be termed as micro business or very small business. That may be the reason we never notice them and even if we notice we tend to just ignore them.

How many snack centers are run by women? How many women are vegetable sellers? How many are making household consumable items? My goodness, we just do not have the count. Rather no one has bothered to have that info.

They are all outside media reporting. They are outside bank credit. But they are still the productivity boosters of this country and heath burners in millions of homes.

As common Indian citizen who are welded to the ground, women doing the double act of homemakers and entrepreneurs is not at all surprising. We know their potential.
