Kerala VHSE Plus one admission VHSCAP 2017 online registration has started.

Online registration for Single window allotment process (Ekajalakam) for vocational higher secondary plus one admission 2017 had started from yesterday. Candidates who wish to take admission for plus one in vocational higher secondary school can apply online on or before 23 May 2017. Kerala vocational higher secondary admission 2017 online registration for centralized application submission have started yesterday 9 May 2017. Candidates who have secured the eligibility to apply for plus one admission in Kerala state can now apply online for taking admission in vocational higher secondary plus one courses through online registration/ Single window system for vocational higher secondary admission (EKajalakam). Candidates registered through online centralized allotment process VHSCAP 2017 are only considered for the admission of VHSE plus one for the academic year 2017-2018.

Who can apply for plus one admission through VHSCAP 2017 (ekajalakam)?

VHSCAP 2017 is a centralized allotment process (ekajalakam) conducted through online for admission to vocational higher secondary courses in Kerala state. VHSCAP means Vocational higher secondary centralized allotment process, a single window system for vocational higher secondary admission as in HSE admission. Students who have secured pass mark in SSLC (Kerala Syllabus), CBSE 10th, ICSE 10th, THSLC schemes, and candidates secured pass mark in equivalent examination by other state board and national board are eligible for register online for VHSE admission 2017. Candidates have minimum 15 years of age as on 2017 June 1 and they should not exceed 20 years of age as a minimum and maximum age limit. Candidates who passed through Kerala board exam has no minimum age limit.

How to submit application for Kerala VHSE plus one admission in 2017

As in the HSCAP 2017, candidates can submit application for VHSE admission in merit seats either by themselves or by the help of teachers of the school at any Government/aided schools utilizing its labs by online. After the final submission of the data through online, candidate will not be able to change it again through online. After the final submission of online application applicants are required to take the printout of the final submission. Candidates and their parents are required to sign in the prescribed place and need to submit this finalized printout at any of the aided / government VHSE school. Candidates are required to pay RS 25 as application fees either while submitting application or through taking DD.

At any cost candidates do not submit more than one application for VHSCAP admission. Once submitted in school principal will provide acknowledgement slip to candidates which need to keep safe until you take permanent admission in VHSE. Candidates are required to submit the marklists along with the self-attested copies of certificate and papers if they are claiming bonus points. If your mak lists reveal your religion, cast, Panchayath/Municipality/Corporation etc datas, then you no need to apply separate certificate for these. If you want to submit any information that are not in the mark list for claiming bonus you have to submit certificate from the concerned authority with the application.

Admission to Kerala VHSE plus one Management/ Un aided/ Community seats

Those students who have qualified as per the requirement of department of vocational higher secondary education to take admission in plus one admission are also eligible for taking admission in management/ un aided/ community seats. Intake of students to VHSE management seats are under the control respective school management. Those students want to submit application for management/ unaided / community seats in VHSE schools are required to submit separate application for the respective schools they want to join. The application form submitted online for VHSCAP process is not considered for the management/ unaided/ community seats. Principals have the responsibility to verify these admission should follow the merit.

Verification of Application submitted by candidates for VHSE plus one admission in Kerala

Candidates have the responsibility to give proper and correct information on their application. Any wrong information may results in cancellation of allotment. So, be alert while submit online registration application. Candidates can check and verify their submitted information in VHSCAP website. To check and verify the submitted online application information of plus one admission candidates are requested to login to the official VHSCAP website and click on the view your application link. In order to login to see the information candidates are required to provide their application number and date of birth.

If candidates want to change any information after the final submission of VHSCAP application they need to submit this request to the principal of the school where they have submitted the printout of online application. During that time they may need to produce proper evidence within the stipulated time and need to ensure these modification has done. Principal will provide the receipt for your request for modification.

What is trial allotment in VHSCAP 2017?

A trial allotment will be done and published before the final allotment by department of vocational higher secondary education. During this time students can do the last modification for their option registration. As trial allotment is not the final allotment and candidates are not required to take admission after it. Once trial allotment publish candidates will get some time to do any modification which have to be completed the announced time by VHSE department. With the trial allotment of VHSCAP admission students will get an idea of the possibility of the seats they are going to get.

What is final allotment in VHSCAP 2017?

In final allotment phase in VHSCAP plus one admission 2017, there are two allotment, namely first allotment and second allotment. After the trial allotment first allotment will be published, and candidates are required to take either permanent or temporary admission to the school they are allotted after the first allotment results of VHSCAP admission process. Those candidates who want to change the school or combination after the first allotment can take a temporary admission and wait for the second allotment of VHSE allotment if they have higher options remains. If you got allotment for a higher option, all the lower option will be cancelled. If you are satisfied with the first allotment results In VHSE allotment you have to take permanent admission in that school, otherwise if you got admission to a higher option in the second allotment you may need to move to that school. Candidates who have not got allotment after the first allotment of VHSCAP admission can wait for the second allotment. There will be supplementary allotment also for VHSCAP. Candidates who have not secure allotment in the main phase are considered for the secondary allotment. For considering for supplementary allotment candidates are required to renew their application with the latest available school and subject combination. List of available school and subject combination will be published in the website there after the main allotment of VHSCAP plus one admission.

What is temporary and permanent admission in Kerala plus one VHSCAP allotment?

Candidates who want to change their option after got allotment in first allotment results, are required to take a temporary admission in order to sustain their admission in VHSE schools. Those candidates fails to take either temporary or permanent admission after got allotment are liable for termination from the VHSE plus one admission allotment process. Candidates are required to submit original certificates during the time of admission. Candidates who have satisfied with the current allotment of vocational higher secondary allotment can take permanent admission. Candidates taken temporary admission will only able to change to higher option only in the further allotment. If a candidates got allotment in more than one district, they need to take admission in one district only. If they take admission in one district all the allotment in other district will automatically cancelled.

Dear Shailesh, At present, we have not received the official last date for VHSCAP admission. Once it announced by VHSCAP department we will let you know. Anyhow, it's advised to submit your application as much as possible to avoid last day rush. As per HSCAP admission schedule, HSCAP application should reach at school on or before 22 May 2017.
