A short trip to Fun N Food Village Kapashera Delhi

Fun N Food Village, located at Kapashera village, New Delhi, is one of the most famous adventure parks in Delhi. It is designed for pure fun and enjoyment, especially for kids. The author describes the experience of visiting this amusement park along with some necessary advisories for the prospective tourists.

Since the commencement of the summer vacation, my daughter had been asking to take her to Fun N Food Village, which we visited earlier way back in 2012. My daughter liked the amusement park during her earlier visit and as she is always a sharing type girl, she wanted to take her cousin ( my sister's daughter) to that amusement park. As I am a confirmed procrastinator, I was making one after another excuse every weekend to postpone the visit. However, on Saturday night my family and my sister's family jointly decided to visit Fun N Food Village on Sunday (21st May, 2017).

About the Fun-N-Food Village

Fun N Food Village is located at Kapashera at Delhi-Haryana border. The park was inaugurated in January 1995 and is presently the most famous adventure parks in Delhi. It caters to the needs of people of different age group. It has twentytwo waters slides and twentyone amusement rides. The entire setup of the park is very lovely and it has a vibrant environment. Fun N Food Village has the longest water slide in India and the fastest water slide in Asia. In the amusement park there is facility for Jacuzzi, Sauna, space for arrangement of theme parties and two very big restaurants.

We started our journey at sharp 9.30 from our residence. As the road was clear on Sunday, we reached the park from South Moti Bagh in around 20-25 minutes. Entering the park, my daughter and her cousin quickly changed their attire, and jumped in the swimming pool. As both of them know swimming, they enjoyed in the pool on the hot summer day for more than forty minutes. My sister's family and my family spent our time in the 'Lazy River', an artificial river with very slow flow of water. Thereafter we took various water rides. Although, some rides were closed, even then we could enjoy more than fifteen water slides. Some slides are very fast and some of them create panic because these slides move through dark tunnels. These slides are not advisable for old people and patients with heart problem. After spending the time in water park for more than four hours, we took our lunch in the nearby restaurant and thereafter went to the amusement park. In the amusement park, we could take only three or four rides which were purely fun activities. We could not enjoy other rides because there was a sudden downpour and it was almost 7p.m., the closing time of the amusement park.

We returned home fully satisfied and rejuvenated.
