How to submit an application for SSC combine graduate level (CGL) Exam .

Have you completed your graduation or studying in the final year of graduation? It is a bright chance for you to apply for the combined graduation level (CGL) exam conducted by staff selection commission(SSC). For central government jobs, to fill the vacancies by recruitment there is two agencies. One UPSC which selects the candidates for group A posts and the other is staff selection commission(SSC). SSC conducts the combined graduation level (CGL) exam every year. Generally, notification comes in march. One-month time will be there to apply. CGL) exam 2017 notification came on 16.05.2017 and the Closing Date is 19.06.2017. Fee can be deposited up to 12.06.2017. So hurry up and apply.

Age limit

Age limit will be reckoned as on 1st August of application year. For maximum post age limit is 18-27 for some posts it is up to 32 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per govt. rules. For detail information please see the notification which is attached as an attachment.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply. For detail information please see the notification which is attached as an attachment

Application Fee

Application Fee is Rs. 100 (only). Candidate may note that only online applications will be accepted at All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

Procedure for Online Submission of Application

  1. Online submission of the application may be made at website
    visit the site and register yourself at the completion registration part , registration no. and pass word will be generated. Note down this in your diary

  2. Registration number given by the Commission and Transaction ID of the Bank
    should be properly entered in the relevant space. On-line application will be
    complete only if scanned signature and photo are uploaded as per instructions.

  3. To pay fee in cash, candidate should take print out of challan generated online after submission of his/her online application form and deposit the requisite fee in any branch of State Bank of India.

  4. Those who want to pay online through SBI net banking/Credit or Debit cards, can go directly to the link and pay the requisite fees

  5. Those who are exempted from payment of fee can skip steps 3 to 4.

  6. Then upload your scanned signature in JPG format. The digital size of the file of the photographs must be more than 30 kb and less than 50 kb

  7. Copy of challan through which fee is paid or details of online payment must retained
    and produced on demand.

Scheme of examination

The exam is conducted in four stages. Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III, Tier-IV. Those who qualify Tier-I, are allowed to appear in Tier-II. Tier-I and Tier-II is computer based multiple choice exam whereas Tier-III is essay type exam. Tier-IV is skill test and document verification test.
