VSTF invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of District Executives and Strategic Advisors.

District Executive Vacancies at VSTF

The term of contract for the post of District Executive is 11 months, the renewal of which is subject to performance. The selected candidates will get a professional fee of Rs.55,000/- with an additional travel allowance of Rs.5,000/-.

Eligibility requirements

  1. Age criteria: 28 to 45 years, as on 31st October 2017.

  2. Experience: You should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in rural development.

  3. Language skills: You must have Marathi and English proficiency.

Strategic Advisor Vacancies at VSTF

There are two positions, one for Strategic Advisor, Government Convergence and another for Strategic Advisor, Partnerships. The tenure for both positions is 11 months, the renewal of which is subject to satisfactory annual performance review, with reporting for both being done to the CEO, VSTF. Remuneration will be as per Industry standards. The selected candidates will work primarily in Mumbai, with frequent travel to VSTF Districts.

Eligibility requirements

  1. For Strategic Advisor, Government Convergence:
    • Qualification: Retired IAS Officer

    • Experience: 25 years of experience, with two years as supervisor to Collectors / CEO ZP in Maharashtra.

  2. For Strategic Advisor, Partnerships:
    • Qualification: You should have a Masters, preferably MBA.

    • Experience: 10 years of experience of managing corporate relationships and social / rural sector.




Job profile

  1. For Strategic Advisor, Government Convergence: You will be responsible for 100% convergence of government schemes and ensure the implementation of these schemes in all the VSTF Districts of the State. There will be a special focus on implementation of flagship programs, such as Skill Development of unemployed youth, housing for all and digital connectivity.

    You will be required to connect between Government officials, District Collectors, CEO ZP, Sarpanch and the CM Gram Parivartaks to implement the requisite schemes. You will be liasioning between District Collectors and the Secreataries of various departments.

    You will need to conduct field visits to two to three Districts on a monthly basis to monitor the progress and evaluate the functioning of the District Mission Council.


  2. For Strategic Advisor, Partnerships: You will be liasioning with ongoing private sector partners and developing new partnerships. Your responsibility will include advising and creating strategies for implementation of projects in villages, in collaboration with both the private & public sectors, monitor the progress in the villages & provide requisite support.

    You will need to conduct regular field visits in order to evaluate the progress of transformation targets.
