Are you searching for career opportunities with SBI? State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a notification to recruit eligible people to be appointed as Specialist Cadre Officers for Wealth management. State Bank of India invites applications from eligible candidates who are citizens of India for filling up the vacancies of Specialist Cadre Officers for Wealth management. The applications will be accepted in online mode only. You can apply for more than one post separately, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria. All the positions are on contractual basis for five years, the positions being renewable for a further period of 5 years at the discretion of the Bank. The selected candidates will be placed in Mumbai or at Various eWealth Centers/Hubs across India.

Important dates to know: The online registration of application and payment of fee is from 31st January 2018 to 15th February 2018.

Relationship Manager

Number of posts: 20.
Age criteria: minimum 23 years and maximum 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a Government-recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have more than three years of experience as a Relationship Manager in Wealth management with a leading national or foreign bank, public or private, or with a broking or security firm. Your work profile should include sufficient experience in building and managing relationships with high Net-worth customers, that is, those with a minimum Total Relationship Value (TRV) of Rs.20 lakh.

Relationship Manager e-Wealth

Number of posts: 20.
Age criteria: minimum 23 years and maximum 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a Government-recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have more than three years of experience as a Relationship Manager in the field of wealth management with a leading national or foreign bank, public or private, or with a broking or security firm. Your work profile should include minimum a year's experience in managing relationships with HNI clients via telephonic, video or digital modes. Candidates with at least three years of experience in sales or service of High-Value financial products through similar modes can also apply.



Relationship Manager - NRI

Number of posts: 10.
Age criteria: minimum 23 years and maximum 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a Government-recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have more than three years' experience as a Relationship Manager in wealth management with a leading national or foreign bank, public or private, or with a broking or security firm. You must have good experience in building and managing relationships with High Networth NRI customers.

Relationship Manager - Corporate

Number of posts: 4.
Age criteria: minimum 23 years and maximum 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a Government-recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have more than three years' experience in acquiring & managing high-value relationships with Corporate firms or institutions or small and medium-sized enterprises and the like.

Acquisition Relationship Manager - Corporate

Number of posts: 80.
Age criteria: minimum 22 years and maximum 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a Government-recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have over two years' experience in the acquisition of High Networth Clients (those with a minimum Total Relationship Value of Rs.20 lakh) in Wealth management business with reputed financial institutions or banks, Broking/Security firms, etc.

Investment Counsellor (IC)

Number of posts: 33.
Age criteria: minimum 28 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a Government-recognized University or Institution. You must also have AMFI / NISM (Module-V) certification. A candidate who is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) will be preferred.
Experience: You should have at least five years' experience as an investment advisor or a counsellor or as a member of a product team in a Wealth management organisation. Your work experience should include experience in products of fixed income, equity and alternate markets as well as in managing & advising clients.
General skills: You should have excellent presentation skills with knowledge of investments and markets, asset allocation, etc. You should be competent to lead a team and ensure good teamwork.

Relationship Manager – Team Lead

Number of posts: 22.
Age criteria: minimum 28 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a Government-recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have 8+ years' experience in relationship management in the field of wealth management. Candidates with experience of leading a team would be preferred.

Customer Relationship Executive (CRE)

Number of posts: 55.
Age criteria: minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a Government-recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have experience in documentation requirements of financial products.
General skills: It is desirable to have good communications skills. You must have a valid driving licence for a two-wheeler.

Central Research Team (CRT-VP Portfolio Analysis and Data Analytics)

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 30 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: You should have MBA/PGDM qualification or be a Post Graduate in Statistics/ Data Analytics from a Government-recognized University or institution.
Experience: You should have at least five years' experience in Fixed Income Research/ MF Research/ Equity and Derivative Research/Portfolio Analytics in a Wealth management Firm/Bank/Equity Broking Firm/AMC.

Zonal Head Sales (Retail)

Number of posts: 2.
Age criteria: minimum 35 years and maximum 50 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduates from Government recognized University or institution.
Experience: You should have at least 15 years' experience in managing sales in Wealth management/ Retail Banking / Investments in the financial services industry. The work profile should include at least five years' experience in leading a large team of relationship managers and Team Lead in Wealth management business.

Head (Operations)

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 35 years and maximum 45 years.
Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM from Government recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have at least 15 years' experience in financial services, investment advisory & private banking. The work profile should include at least eight years' experience in setting up & managing mid-office, back office and branch operations of a Wealth management set-up. You should have relevant experience in handling trade & data for transactions across varied asset classes like equity, bonds, mutual funds, etc Experience in leading a large operations team in Wealth management business would be ideal. Candidates with experience on CRM platform for Wealth management would be preferred.

Compliance Officer

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 25 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduates from Government recognized University or Institution. You must also have the relevant professional qualification in compliance-preferred NISM Certification: 3(A).
Experience: You should have at least 5 years of experience in wealth management business. The work profile should include at least three years' experience in compliance in wealth management.

Project Development Manager-Business

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 25 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: MBA/MMS/PGDM from Government recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have minimum of 4 years' experience in banking, preferably in a supervisory role.

Project Development Manager – Technology

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 25 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: MBA/MMS/PGDM/ME/M.Tech / BE/B.Tech from a Government recognized University or institution.
Experience: You should have a minimum of 4 years' experience in banking Technology, preferably in a business function.

Manager (Business Development)

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 30 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM from Government recognized University or institution.
Experience: You should have at least 5 years' experience in Bank/Wealth Management firms/broking firms. Your work profile should include some experience in business development in the field of wealth management.

Investment Advisor (Retail & Corporate)

Number of posts: Two.
Age criteria: minimum 28 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduates from a Government recognized University or institution. Certified advisors NISM/CWM is mandatory. Candidates who are CFP would be preferred.
Experience: You should have over five years' experience in product expert inputs role in wealth management, out of which over three years' experience in investment a counselling role would be preferred. Some experience in managing and advising client portfolios would be good.
General Skills: It would be preferable to have a good knowledge of investments and markets across diverse asset classes. You should have excellent presentation skills and leadership skills.

Central Operations Team Support

Number of posts: Two.
Age criteria: minimum 30 years and maximum 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduates from Government recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have at least 3 years' experience in financial services, investment advisory, private banking or wealth management solution providers, out of which minimum two years' experience in Central Operations in Wealth Management business.
General Skills: It is preferable to have excellent knowledge of equity products, mutual funds and Advisory, etc.

Central Research Team Support

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 25 years and maximum 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Economics/ Management/Mathematics/ Statistics from Government recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You must have minimum experience of 3 years in financial services, providing support to Research / Publications departments.
General Skills: It is preferable to have computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. You should be keen to take up research work by reading up reports or websites' articles. You should be able to provide requisite support to analyze data through various research tools/ software like Reuters, Bloomberg, CRISIL, etc.

Zonal Head – eWealth

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 35 years and maximum 50 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduates from Government recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have at least 15 years' experience in managing sales in wealth management/ retail banking/investments in the financial services' sector. Your work profile should include at least 5 years' experience in leading a large team of Relationship Managers. It would be ideal to have some experience in managing sales & service of financial products through digital channels.

Zonal Head / Team Lead NRI

Number of posts: One.
Age criteria: minimum 35 years and maximum 50 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduates from Government recognized University or Institution.
Experience: You should have minimum 15 years of experience in managing sales in wealth management/retail banking/investments in the financial services industry, out of which at least 5 years of experience in NRI wealth management.

On successful completion of the entire application process, a provisional registration number and password will be seen on your computer screen. You need to note down the registration number and password so that you can use it to log-in and edit any data which you entered earlier (this can be done up to 3 times only.)

Next, the application fee should also be made online only, by using debit card/credit card / Internet Banking etc. The fee, which is non-refundable, is Rs. 600/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with the date entered by the candidate will be generated, which should be printed and retained by the candidate.
