Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya genearl features

Jawahar Navodya Vidyalayas (popularly known as JNVs) are all co-educational schools. The schools have been set up in all districts in India other than in the State of Tamil Nadu. The 626 schools have a residential campus with separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls. Other than academics, students engage in various co-curricular activities such as yoga, Scouts & Guides and NCC & NSS.
