Loyola College Secunderabad B.A/B.Sc/B.Com degree courses admissions 2018-19

Loyola Degree & P.G college is a part of Loyola Academy which is managed and administered by the Jesuits of the Andhra Jesuit Province that belong to the Society of Jesus which is of an international Catholic Religious Order. The Loyola Junior College, Degree and P.G Colleges were founded by Rev. Fr T. Baliah SJ in 1976 in Alwal area of Secunderabad in Telangana state (the then Andhra Pradesh state).

The college is affiliated to Osmania University and was granted autonomous status in 1992 by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college is awarded with a rare status known as 'College with Potential of Excellence' by UGC and is awarded 'A' grade by the NAAC (National Accreditation and Assessment Council).

General Instructions

  • Applicants who have passed Intermediate or Class 12 in April / May 2018 in the first attempt with 60% marks or 55% marks as applicable for different courses, are eligible to apply.
  • It is compulsory for the parent to attend the interview without which admission will not be granted.
  • Applicants need to download the application form from the official website: www.loyolaacademyugpg.ac.in/admissions
  • Applicants need to pay online registration fee of Rs.600/-. The college will accept online payment only and the amount is not refundable.
  • Applicants should fill separate application form for each category i.e separate applications for Science courses, Commerce & BBA courses and Arts & Humanities courses.
  • Applicants should take the print out of the filled-in application form and hall ticket and submit the hard copies (print copy) to the college along with the required documents.
  • Applicants can take the hall ticket after getting the college seal / stamp done.
  • Applicants should read the online prospectus carefully before they fill in the online application form
  • Students who couldn't pass the Intermediate exams / Class 12 exams or those appearing for supplementary exams and those who got less than 55% marks are not eligible to apply.
  • Students who have done MPC are not eligible to apply for B.Sc. (Hons) Agricultural Science & Rural Development.
  • Applicants should ensure that there are no mistakes in the original certificates.
  • 10 xerox copies of all certificates should be enclosed at the time of admission, within the stipulated date failing which the admission would be cancelled.
  • Original certificates will be retained with the college and will not be returned till the completion of the course.
  • Applicants need to keep enough photocopies of their original certificates for future use.

Note:These rules may change from time to time as determined by the College and the University.

Important Dates

  • Last dates for submission of filled-in online application form - 22nd May, 2018 and 24th May, 2018.
  • Time and Dates of entrance exams - From 10 a.m to 12 noon on 25th, May, 2018, 26th May, 2018 and 27th May, 2018.
  • Dates of Result - 28th and 29th May, 2018.
  • Dates of Interview - 30th and 31st May, 2018, 1st, 2nd and 3rd June, 2018.

Photocopies / xerox copies of the following documents should be submitted along with the application form:
  • S.S.C. / Class 10th Marks Memo and Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
  • Intermediate / Class 12th Memo
  • Bona fide / Conduct Certificate
  • Intermediate / Class 12th Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
  • Ration card and Aadhar Card
  • Caste Certificate, if applicable
  • In case of Catholic, also produce
    1. A Letter from your Parish Priest
    2. Original Baptism Certificate issued by your Parish Priest or a xerox copy of the certificate attested by your Parish Priest.
