The Review Before proceeding, I kindly request the readers to have a pause here to check whether they have watched the movie. If no, better go back and come later. Because, this may include some spoilers. So, I suggest, get a good view of the movie and come back for a discussion. It's worth watching.
Now we will proceed.
Well Infinity War was one of a kind from Marvel Studios. Unlike their any other movies, where the movie ends into more of happiness, this one is bit different. And the second part will be, or may be, more or less the old way.
Infinity War came out with great expectation - well, for every viewers. For the first time viewers of Marvel, they just need to know how the MCU works. For newbie viewers who strated following Marvel recently, the movie was supposed to be a sort of encouragement. For hard core fans of Marvel Studios, they just expected a few great deaths. For the die hard fans who had the Comics too, the film needs to picturize the old comic in the perfect way.
And for all, except the last category, the movie was a sort of disappointment, well the die hard fans may feel bit better after they had a second thought on the movie later. However, in general the movie just finished off desperately, instead of happiness - like the old times. And this make the movie one of a kind from Marvel. They just changed the concept of heroes winning. As if now, Thanos had his will enacted. But, as we all know, the movie is technically not over and in the end it will be the avengers on the winning side.
So, what was the movie all about. Avengers had "broke up". Captain and Tony didn't come into a scene together. The fights scenes was at different locations of the universe without communication between the teams. Many heroes ended up into ashes. The Big Titan completed his mission. The movie ended in big desperation. Is this really some sort of Marvel Movie? We may ask.
Those who knew the Comic Series may understand that the movie follows the comics. But for others it may seem bit confusing.
Unlike the rumours where Cap or Tony dies, the movie showed it the other way. Way too many Avengers turned into ashes. And the one where the teenager disappeared at the should of his mentor was really touching (personally, I believed that he was just alright just before I saw him turning into ash). But as the viewers were ready for bigger heartbreak, it was okay.
Dr. Strange says to Tony that there is no other options. When we recall the fact that he had gone through all the possible outcomes and had just one to win, we can guess that it is this way they can win. Dr. Strange surrenders the Time Stone for sparing Tony's life, even when he had previously said it the other way. May be, on that one possible outcome to win, he had seen Tony inevitable. So, the Socecer Supreme let Thanos to have the stone that he vowed to protect at any cost.
Winding Up....>h3 Infinity War ends with only the initial avengers left. Is that a coincidence? May be.. But as if now, Cap and Tony is on charge. Well, they need to be on "speaking terms" to protect the world, and correct what the Mad Titan had done.
As I have said earlier, the movie had ended up in great desperation. Well, desperation gives birth to hopes. Hope is the essence of survival and existence. As if now, we had lost many, he are despair. But we still have a hope. Let us see how that hope will be protected in the next part.
