Introduction

Many of the people in the country still feel a challenging career in Public Administration, if someone aims at a prestigious government job with the authority to make the country's administration more effective at the grassroots level, then he would be eyeing on Civil Services Examination. As we all are aware that it is the major role entrusted to the Union Public service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of Officers in various Government Departments of the Union of India and the Union territories based on the vacancies arising out during the ensuing year of allocation. UPSC is authorised to conduct various competitive examinations every year to select the candidates for such prestigious posts including the Civil Services Examination (CSE) to recruit officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other All India services.
