How to apply for Army Public Schools teachers CSB recruitment exam for 2019-2020 vacancies

Are you looking for school teaching career opportunities at CBSE army schools in India? This article provides the schedule of the AWES online registration for Army Public School teaching jobs. The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) Combined Selection Screening Exam for teaching recruitment is being conducted in November for teaching vacancies for the 2019-2020 academic session. You will also get details of the exam format, the exam fee, eligibility criteria and the online application process.

Each year, the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) conducts a Combined Selection Screening Exam, known as CSE. This is a recruitment exam to hire qualified candidates for teaching positions in Army Public Schools (APS) all over India. As of now, there are more than 100 APS at locations where military stations & cantonments have been set up by the Army. All these institutes are CBSE-affiliated. For the academic session beginning next year, there will be many teaching vacancies since from the current number of nearly 8000, some may leave or get transferred.

Those who apply for the CSE should note that the school teaching vacancies may be regular posts or on a contractual basis. This is generally mentioned when the school announces the available vacancies at its institute. Those who are appointed for the regular posts may be liable for transfer to another APS. Most important to note is that a candidate cannot apply for two categories, such as both for PGT and for TGT. Also, if a candidate creates different IDs and applies twice, then only one application will be randomly selected. This will lead to a forfeiture of the fee deposit for the disqualified application(s).

The biggest advantage of acquiring a scorecard of the CSE is that this scorecard is considered to be valid for the long term, so long as you take up a teaching job in a CBSE recognized school within 3 years of issue of that scorecard.

Eligibility requirements for CSE

Candidates can register for the exam the for posts of PGT/TGT/PRT for all subjects, ensuring that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for each as per the requirement.
