Eligibility- XIIth pass with 50% marks in English. Any graduate with 50% marks in English as one subject. Even the final year examinees of the Bachelor's degree are allowed to apply. For International and SAARC students, the eligibility criterion is that the applicants have to be graduates.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU)

Duration- 2 years
Eligibility- 10+2
Or
Above 20 years and who is also a 10+2 dropout

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU)

It offers a Diploma in Functional English (DFE). It is a 1-year course which focuses on the functional aspects of the English language. It also emphasizes in details on creative writing.
