An excellent article presenting all the information needed for the students interested to go for distance mode B.Ed. from these apex institutions.

B.Ed. is mandatory for applying for teaching jobs in schools and many people have done B.Ed. to pursue a career in teaching and many are aspiring for it. There are so many institutes, colleges and universities which are offering the regular mode B.Ed. and over and above that, there are many which are offering it in distance mode. This has created a large number of B.Ed. qualified people in the market and everyone is in search of a teaching job.

There are a lucky few who get a good job but many are forced to go to remote and interior places where they are confined to a small place and are deprived of networking and connections for swapping or shifting of their jobs to greener pastures.

Anyway, in a competitive and tough world such things happen but what I want to emphasise is that one should look for other alternate career streams before simply going for B.Ed. just because other students are doing it.
