Nice article. I would like to add a few points to it. Students, who are studying in classes 5th to 10th in Mumbai and classes 5th to 9th in Pune and Chandigarh and have scored more than 60% in their last year’s final examination are eligible for certification and scholarships under this Scholarship Program. Also, this program is only for the students from Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
Scholarship amount is also fixed:
° Total 60 students will be selected from Mumbai and will be given an amount of 50000 INR each.
° 35 students from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula will be selected and will be given 25000 INR each.
° Similarly 25 students from Pune will be selected and will be awarded 25k INR each.
Its a good opportunity and competition is tough but still, parents should encourage their kids to fill the form and apply for the same.
It is a marvellous effort from Hindustan Times Group but such a campaign needs a wide publicity so that eligible aspirants from the different areas of the country is covered.
The written test is very competitive and tough in nature in the sense that fewer candidates are selected for the final interview. The authorities of the schools apart from the guardians need to pay special attention to promote the wards in creative writings. Such encouragement will go a long way in creating confidence within the aspirants to express their views effectively.
The author has given an update information regarding the various facts so that they can apply for this competitive test.
Thanks for adding the valuable information. It was not specifically mentioned in their site and newspaper that it is only for the students of some select places so I was not sure on that point. Anyway you must have checked it thoroughly in the site or some other source. Good observation.
Thanks for going through the article and of course your encouraging comments.
