Why you should pick Nepal as your Christmas and New Year holiday destination

In this festive month, we are all in search of affordable holiday destinations. Nepal is a country that can give you an inexpensive but a heavenly holiday feel. Mountain trekking, watching beautiful Pagodas, getting close to Nature in Chitwan National park, purchase of exotic handmade items in Kathmandu's market, Kayaking and Bungee jumping are offered by this beautiful country.

Worn out with our busy lives, we all might want to seek a vacation in some beautiful hill station for a few days. We often check for inexpensive but impressive destinations. One such inexpensive but equally interesting holiday destinations would be Nepal. It must be noted that since Christians are a minority in Nepal, there won't be any grand Christmas celebration on that day. The same goes for the New Year eve as Nepal uses the lunar calendar and Nepali New year occurs in April. But the days of Christmas and New Year are recognized by the government and are declared as holidays. Tourists opt Nepal for its serene beauty and adrenaline rushing activities.

Things to do and see in Nepal

  • After starting the day of your Christmas in one of many churches in Kathmandu, get ready to visit Botanical gardens and Nagarjun forest reserve. Nepal is a good destination for nature lovers and seekers of uncontaminated natural landscapes. It is our neighbouring country and there are no stringent Visa formalities. It is a friendly country and Indians are always welcome there.
