About University of MysoreThe University of Mysore is the sixth oldest university in India which was established in the year 1916 in the state of Karnataka. The main campus of the university is named as Manasagangotri means an eternal flow of the mind. In this university, there are 63 postgraduate departments which offer 76 PG programmes. There are 66 recognized research centers, 226 affiliated colleges, 157 research/ outreach centers, 47 specialized programmes, 8 training centers, 27 national collaborations, and 38 foreign collaborations. Eligibility criteriaCandidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
BBA , B.Com
BBA/ BBM/ B.Com with a minimum of 45 % (40% for SC/ ST and Cat-I) marks in aggregate.
B. Sc. degree with Computer Science/ Mathematics as one of the optional or any degree with Diploma in Computer Application/ BCA/ B.Tech/ B.E in any branch with a minimum of 45 % (40% for SC/ ST and Cat-I) marks in aggregate.
M.A History, M.A Economics, M.A Political Science, M.A Sociology
A degree from a recognized University with History/ Economics/ Political Science/ Sociology as a major or optional subject respectively.
B.A/ B.Sc., B.A. performing arts, with Kannada as optional or major subject or Degree with Post-Pre-University Diploma in Kannada or B.Ed. degree with S.S.L.C and Vidwat Exam of the University of Madras or Pandit exam of Karnataka Government.
Students having English as an optional subject in B.A./ B.Sc., B.A Performing Arts/ B.A.Ed. degree or Postgraduate diploma in English of the University or equivalent with a minimum of 45 % (40% for SC/ ST and Cat-I) marks in aggregate.
Application processInterested and eligible candidates are requested to download the application form from the website: "http://uni-mysore.ac.in/english-version/sites/default/files/content/odl_applicationform_2018-19.pdf". Candidates need to submit the filled application form along with a DD of Rs. 400/- which is drawn in favor of Finance Officer, University of Mysore, Mysuru to the below address on or before 31st December 2018. The application should be enclosed with the self-attested copies of the following documents:
