About HITS Hindustan College of Engineering was established in the year 1985 and later in the academic year 2008 - 2009 it was renamed as Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. Admissions 2019 Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science has announced admissions into Under Graduate courses - B.Tech./ B.Arch., B.Des. through HITSEE - 2019 (Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science Online Engineering Entrance Examination). B. Tech course is offered in the following list of departments:

Candidates must have passed the higher secondary exam (12th) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or equivalent subjects. Candidates waiting for higher secondary exam results are also eligible to apply.
For Academic stream: A minimum average of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together.
For Vocational stream: A minimum average of 50% marks in the vocational subjects and related subjects both theory and the practical.
For B.Tech Bio-Technology Only: A minimum average of 50% marks in Mathematics/ Biology, Physics and Chemistry put together.
B.Arch Programmes Candidates must have written the NATA - National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council of Architecture, India and must secure the minimum eligibility criteria as per COA norms. HITSEE 2019 exam pattern HITSEE 2019 is an online entrance examination which is conducted for 2 hours. It consists of 120 questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. The exam is divided into 3 parts:
Part 1: Physics - 40 marks
Part 2: Chemistry - 40 marks
Part 3: Mathematics - 40 marks
Application process Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at website: https://hu.online-ap1.com. Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs. 1200/- plus bank charges for HITSEE 2019 online itself. Candidates can select the test centre while filling the application form. Candidates have to print the provisional registration slip and retain it for future reference. There is no need to courier the application form.
