DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC), with its head office at New Delhi. is a non-governmental organisation which manages educational institutions in India at over 700 campuses in rural areas, towns and cities. These include public schools, aided schools, institutes offering professional courses and institutions offering research programs as well as a University in Jalandhar, Punjab. Professionals from different fields are on the committee. DAVCMC is conducting a recruitment drive to select highly qualified and experienced candidates to take up the posts of Principals and Headmaster/Headmistress in various DAV Public Schools/Model Schools in India. Candidates who are committed to ensuring quality education and have relevant skills should apply. It should be noted that although candidates can indicate their preference of States where they wish to work, the service is transferable anywhere in India. Eligibility requirements
Academic Qualification
You must have a Master's Degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from any UGC-recognized University.Experience
For the post of Principal: You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching Secondary/Senior Secondary students in public schools. This should include 5 years of relevant educational administrative experience.
For the post of Headmaster/Headmistress: You should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in teaching Middle school/Secondary school students. This should include 3 years of relevant educational administrative experience.
Application procedure
You should apply within 15 days from the date of the recruitment advertisement on the prescribed form. The application form can be downloaded from the official DAVCMC website.
Submit the completed application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.250/- in favour of "Secretary, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi" along with attested copies of educational qualification certificates. You must indicate your preference for various States on the prescribed form.
