Umesh, I agree with you. There are more metabolism enhancers and you have mentioned some more apart from those mentioned in my article.

We can use them in our daily foods, but should not exceed the limit of daily quota of calories in our diet.

Excesses of everything is bad. Maintain a proper diet and with a limited quantity of metabolism, the enhancer is good for our health.

Metabolism is the body's chemical process during which energy is released from the food. Those individuals who have high metabolism are blessed with the power to convert food into energy at a faster pace than other individuals. Thus, they can eat a large amount of food and still not gain weight. However, individuals who are obese or are overweight have stored the excess amount of fat in the body as their metabolism is low. Thus, the foods that the author has mentioned in this article are considered to be the best which when consumed on a regular basis keep the body's metabolic rate high. It means these foods speed up burning of calories and prevent storing of excess fat.

Certain fruits such as pears and apples are known to boost metabolism which will ultimately lead to the shedding of that extra weight. If one can find organic ones then it offers added benefits to the health. Start the day by eating fresh organic apples and pears during breakfast and eat them as snacks as and when required throughout the day to keep hunger pangs away and metabolism high. Apart from these fruits, a citrus fruit such as grapefruit which is rich in vitamin C is also good when it comes to boosting metabolism.

Eat whole grains such as brown rice, quinoa, and oats. Whole grains keep the levels of insulin low. Thus, the body does not store excess fat. Only when the body gets an indication that there is a spike in the insulin level, it starts storing fat in the body. Whole grains are complex forms of carbohydrates and rich sources of nutrients.

The simplest way of boosting metabolism is to keep the body hydrated. Drink adequate amount of water throughout the day and fulfill the body's daily requirement of water. There can be no better way to lose weight than to drink water as this fluid is considered to be one of the best metabolism boosters. It also cleanses the body by getting rid of toxins and naturally suppresses appetite.
