How to bid online in Mumbai and Konkan Housing Boards mega e-auction of shops 2019


Eager to set up a shop in Mumbai city or in the Konkan region of Maharashtra? This article provides you a wonderful opportunity to bid for a shop premises in Mumbai, Virar and Sindhudurg through the e-Auction scheduled in April 2019 by the Mumbai and Konkan Housing & Area Development Boards. Details of the locations and offset price of each shop as well as how to register for the bidding process have been provided.

Mumbai Housing & Area Development Board (MHAD), which is conducting a lottery for low budget flats in Mumbai is also, along with Konkan Housing & Area Development Board, conducting an online auction of shops in areas which come under their respective jurisdictions. The e-auction is scheduled for April 2019.

Schedule

  1. Opening of registration, application and uploading of documents: 7th March 2019, 2p.m. onward.

  2. Payment of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): 7th March 2019, 2p.m. onward.

  3. Closing of registration, application and uploading of documents: 30th March 2019, up to 5p.m.

  4. Closing of 30th March 2019, up to 5p.m.

  5. E-Auction (online bidding) begins: 2nd April, 11a.m. onward.

  6. E-Auction (online bidding) ends: 5th April, 2p.m. (there may be a possibility of an extension).

  7. Result of e-Auction bidding: 8th April 2019, 11a.m.




Fees

You have to pay Rs.5,600/- towards the fee for the online application form. The cost of the form is Rs.5000/- + GST@12% of Rs.600/-. This is a non-refundable fee.

The e-Auction processing fee is Rs.1,180/-. This includes the fee of Rs.1000/- + GST@18% of Rs.180/-. This is a non-refundable fee.

Location and offset price of shops

  1. At Pratiksha Nagar, Sion: 35 shops, OC received. 6 of these are under social reservation and 29 are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs.22,55,000/- to Rs.40,25,000/-.

  2. At New Hind Mill, Mazgaon: 4 shops, OC received. One of these is under social reservation and three are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs.79,06,838/-.

  3. At Vinoba Bhave Nagar, Kurla: 14 shops, OC received. Three of these are under social reservation and 11 are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 26,05,880/- to Rs.47,78,867/-.

  4. At Swadeshi Mill, Kurla: 5 shops, OC received. One of these is under social reservation and four are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 67,16,000/- to Rs.91,25,000/-.

  5. At Turbhe Mandale, Mankhurd: 7 shops, OC received. Two of these is under social reservation and five are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 30,48,666/-.

  6. At Tunga Powai: 5 shops, OC received. One of these is under social reservation and four are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs.54,84,222/- to 88,83,036/-.

  7. At Gavanpada, Mulund: 11 shops, OC received. Three of these are under social reservation and eight are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 43,55,000/- to Rs.1,09,86,000/-.

  8. At Majaswadi, Jogeshwari: One shop, OC received, which is unreserved. Offset price: Rs.72,10,764/-.

  9. At Shastri Nagar, Goregaon: 4 shops, OC received, all of which are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 63,18,450/- to Rs.71,22,150/-.

  10. At Siddharth Nagar, Goregaon: One shop, OC received, which is unreserved. Offset price: Rs. 1,49,45,400/-.

  11. At Charkop, Plot No.1: 20 shops, OC received. Four of these are under social reservation and 16 are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 41,87,426/- to Rs.1,13,57,676/-.

  12. At Charkop, Plot No.2: 19 shops, RERA No. P-51800000019-11/06/2017. Four of these are under social reservation and 15 are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 41,59,992/- to Rs.87,91,350/.

  13. At Charkop, Plot No.3: 4 shops, RERA No. P-51800000019-11/06/2017. One of these is under social reservation and three are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs.50,90,254/- to Rs.85,54,420/-.

  14. At Malwani, Malad: 69 shops, RERA No. P-51800000033-15/06/2017. 14 of these are under social reservation and 55 are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs.43,24,400/- to Rs.57,07,600/-.

  15. At Virar, Bolinj: 57 shops, OC received. 11 of these are under social reservation and 46 are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 16,68,000/- to Rs.90,19,000/-.

  16. At Vengurla, Sindhudurg: 20 shops, OC received. Four of these are under social reservation and 16 are unreserved. Offset price per shop: Rs. 10,40,000/- to Rs.16,83,000/-.




Eligibility requirements

In order to participate in the e-Auction, you must fulfil the following criteria-
  1. You should be more than 18 years of age while applying.

  2. You need to pay the following Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) as per the following-
    • For Offset Amount less than Rs.25,00,000/-, EMD is Rs.25,000/-.

    • For Offset Amount of Rs. 25,00,001/- to Rs.50,00,000/-, EMD is Rs.50,000/-.

    • For Offset Amount of Rs. 50,00,001/- to Rs.75,000/-, EMD is Rs.75,000/-.

    • For Offset Amount of more than Rs.75,00,001/-, EMD is Rs.1,00,000/-.

  3. In case of MCGM/VVCMC commercial reservation, the successful bidder has to conduct business on the referred shop as per the reservation norms.
