CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute Mysuru also known as CSIR- CFTRI Mysuru is a constituent laboratory of the council of scientific and industrial research, New Delhi. CSIR-CFTRI Mysuru is conducting a Walk-in-Interview for 4 positions of Project Assistants Level–II on a temporary basis tenable at CSIR-CFTRI under the research project titled "Harnessing Appropriate Rural Interventions and Technologies (CSIR-HARIT) Programme" . Please note that this engagement will be contractual and on temporary basis in the project for a maximum period of 1 year . If the candidate is already working in CSIR-CFTRI, then they need to submit a "No objection certificate" at the time of interview. The other details are given.

1. Project Assistant Level-ll

  • Number of positions: 2
  • Emoluments: Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) consolidated per month
  • Eligibility : Candidates with a first class in M.Sc. in Statistics/ Agriculture/ Food Science and Nutrition with consistently good academic records are eligible to apply for this program

2. Project Assistant Level-ll

  • Number of positions: 1
  • Emoluments: Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) consolidated per month
  • Eligibility : Candidates with a first class M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Food Science and Nutrition with consistently good academic records are eligible to apply here. In addition, the candidates must have an interest in science communication

3. Project Assistant Level-ll

  • Number of positions: 1
  • Emoluments: Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) consolidated per month
  • Eligibility : Candidates with a first class M.Sc. in Food Science/ Food Technology/Food Science & Nutrition. OR First Class B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Food Processing Engineering with consistently good academic records can apply here.

Note: The performance of the PA will be reviewed every six months. In case they are not satisfied with the performance, the fellowship will be terminated with one month's notice.

  • Date and timing: 8 March 2019, 10:30 AM

Note: There won't be any TA/DA for candidates attending the interview.

What is the age limit for attending this interview?

Candidates should not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 08.03.2019 for attending this interview. For SC/ST/OBC and women candidates, there will be a relaxation of age as per the India Govt rule.

How to reach?

You can travel in car via Krishnaraja Boulevard Rd or via Kantharaja Urs Rd or via Krishnaraja Boulevard Rd and Hunsur Rd/Mangalore - Mysore Hwy/Vinoba Rd to reach the campus. It will take only 7-10 minutes travel to cover that 3.5 km.
