Online admissions are open for the common admission process of the two-year full-time MBA program for the 2019-2021 academic sessions at Delhi Technology University's Delhi School of Management (DSM), at the DTU main campus and University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (USME) at the East Delhi campus as well as at the Department of Management Studies, Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT). Hence note that admissions to the MBA course at NSUT will be held jointly with DTU.

About the MBA program

The course is a full-time one of two years' duration (four semesters) which aims to help you acquire managerial and leadership skills. After studying core subjects in the first year, you will then have various elective courses in the second year. These will help you to decide on a future career goal and includes specialization areas of which you can select two to have dual specialization. Your options are:
  1. Marketing Management.

  2. Financial Management.

  3. Human Resource Management.

  4. Information Technology Management.

  5. Operations and Supply Chain Management.

  6. Business Analytics.

Number of Seats

At NSUT: 60, with the breakup as follows - 31 for General Category, 16 of OBC, 9 of SC and 4 for ST.

At DSM, DTU: 120, with the breakup as follows - 61 for General Category, 32 of OBC, 18 of SC and 9 for ST.

At USME, DTU: 60, with the breakup as follows - 31 for General Category, 16 of OBC, 9 of SC and 4 for ST.



Course fees

At both, the DTU campuses and at NSUT, the fee is the same, namely:
First-year fee: Rs. 1,66,000/-.
Second-year fee: Rs. 1,90,000/-.

The fee includes: Tuition fee, student's welfare fee (for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, seminars, conferences, workshops, skill development activities, etc), facilities and services' charges (for research initiatives, training programs, etc), fund for the economically weaker section, exam fee, and annual premium amount for the student's mediclaim. Please refer to the brochures to know about the percentage of refund of fees in case of withdrawal from studying the course.

Eligibility requirements

You must have passed the Graduate exam in any stream with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university/institution. The minimum is relaxed by 10% for SC/ST/PwD candidates. You can also apply if you are appearing in the final semester exam. However, in such a case, you will need to submit the proof of eligibility by the requisite date as declared by the University. The Graduate Degree should be from a recognized institution. You must also have a valid score card of CAT-2018, with the university determining an appropriate cut-off percentile of the CAT score to shortlist the candidates for the Group Discussion (GD) and the Personal Interview (PI).

How to apply

You need to register first at the online admissions website for DTU MBA program and then apply online at the same website. The information brochure is available at this website as well as at the official NSUT website (the link to the admissions portal is also available at this website.

You will be required to make the online payment of Rs. 1000/- towards the application fee. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500/-.

List of documents for admission

The following documents should be produced for verification at the time of admission for the MBA program, when you are called for the GD and PI and for the counseling process:
  1. A print out of the online application form signed by you.

  2. The Degree and mark sheet of the qualifying exam.

  3. A print out of the CAT score card.

  4. The date of birth certificate as indicated in the High School exam or an equivalent exam, that is, Clas 10.

  5. The relevant certificate if applying through a reserved category/sub-category (refer to the admissions' brochure to know which ones are required for which category).

  2. Date of release of short-listed candidates for GD and Interview: 8th April 2019.

  3. GD and Interview of short-listed candidates: 15th April 2019.

  5. First Counselling session: 7th and 8th May 2019.

  6. Second list for admission from the waitlisted candidates against vacant/withdrawal seats: 15th May 2019.

  7. Second Counselling session: 22nd May 2019.

  8. Third list for admission from the waitlisted candidates against vacant/withdrawal seats: 29th May 2019.

  9. Third Counselling session: 5th June 2019.

  10. Fourth list of selected candidates against vacant/withdrawal of seats: 12th June 2019.

  11. Fourth Counselling session: 19th June 2019.

  12. Fifth list for admission from the waitlisted candidates against vacant/withdrawal seats: 17th July 2019.

  13. Fifth Counselling session and last date of admission: 24th July 2019.
