Online applications open for AIIMS Jodhpur recruitment of Group B and C posts

This article provides complete information of the March 2019 recruitment notification issued by AIIMS Jodhpur, Rajasthan to hire qualified candidates for filling up vacancies in Group B and Group C categories.

AIIMS Jodhpur, Rajasthan is hiring qualified and experienced candidates through direct recruitment for filling up current posts in Group B and Group C categories. There will be an online Computer Based Test (CBT) for selecting the candidates. The scheme of the exam and the syllabus for recruitment to the various posts will be updated at the official website at a later date. Applicants are advised to check the requirements of full-time posts where private practice of any kind is prohibited, which posts will require working in shifts and for which posts the work location may be at rural health and urban centers attached with the institute.

Group B vacancies

Yoga Instructor post

One post (UR) at Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 44900- Rs.142400.
Age criteria: 21-35 years.
Eligibility: You must be a Graduate from a recognized University with a Diploma in Yoga from a Govt.-recognized institution. Alternatively, you should be a Graduate in Yoga Sciences from a recognized University and also have 5 years of experience in teaching and training of yoga in a recognized institution. It would be desirable to have some experience of Yoga in Orthopedics.

Assistant Engineer posts

  1. Air Conditioning & Refrigeration: One post (UR) at Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 44900-Rs. 142400.
    Age criteria: up to 35 years.
    Essential: You should be a Graduate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with 5 years of experience in the design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a hospital environment.

  2. Civil: Two posts (UR) at Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 44900-Rs. 142400.
    Age criteria: up to 35 years.
    Eligibility: You should be a Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with 5 years of experience in the design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a hospital environment.

  3. Electrical: One post (UR) at the Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 44900-Rs. 142400.
    Age criteria: up to 35 years.
    Eligibility: You should be a Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with 5 years of experience in the design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a Hospital environment.


Junior Engineer posts

  1. Air Conditioning & Refrigeration: Four posts (UR-3; OBC-1) at Level 6 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 35400-Rs. 112400.
    Age criteria: up to 30 years.
    Eligibility: You must be a Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute and preferably 2 years of experience in repair and maintenance of large scale Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems. Those with a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with 5 years of experience in repair and maintenance of large scale Air Condition and Refrigeration Systems can also apply.

  2. Civil: Six posts (UR-5; OBC-1) at Level 6 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 35400-Rs. 112400.
    Age criteria: up to 30 years.
    Eligibility: You must be a Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. It is desirable to have two years of experience in the design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a hospital environment. Those with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute With 5 years of experience in the design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a hospital environment, can also apply.

  3. Electrical: Two posts (UR) at Level 6 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 35400-Rs.112400.
    Age criteria: up to 30 years.
    Eligibility: You must be a Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute, preferably with two years of experience in the repair and maintenance of electrical systems, preferably in a Hospital Environment. Those with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with five years of similar experience as mentioned can also apply.

Administrative post

There is one vacancy (UR) for the post of PACS Administrator (Technical Officer Photography) at Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 44900-Rs.142400. The candidate should be in the age group of 21-35 years.
Educational Qualification: BE/B. Tech/MCA.
Experience: Two years of experience in Medical IT systems/PACS.

Medical and Health posts

  1. Maternity and Child Welfare Officer: One post (UR) at Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 44900-Rs.142400.
    Age criteria: 21-35years.
    Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
    Experience: Candidates should have one year of experience in family welfare programs (two years' requirement for Diploma holders).

  2. Electrocardiograph Technical Assistant: One post (UR) at Level 6 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 35400- Rs. 112400.
    Age criteria: 21-30 years.
    Educational Qualification: You should have passed 10+2 in Science with a Certificate/Diploma Course in Electrocardiography from a recognized institute.
    Experience: at least two years of experience in the field.

  3. Health Educator (Social Psychologist): One post (UR) at Level 6 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 35400-Rs. 112400.
    Age criteria: 21-35 years.
    Educational Qualification: You should have a Graduation M.A./M.Sc. degree in Psychology from a recognized Institute / University. It is desirable to have an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology.
    Experience: You should have 5 years' work experience with the physically challenged in a Rehabilitation Centre.

  4. Medical Record Officer: Four posts (UR-3; OBC-1) at Level 6 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 35400-Rs. 112400.
    Age criteria: 21-35 years.
    Educational Qualification: You should have a University-recognized Bachelor's Degree preferably with Science or its equivalent. Additionally, you should have completed a one year course in Medical Records from a recognized Institution.
    Experience: You should have not less than 5 years of experience in the organization and maintenance medical records in a Medical Hospital or institute with not less than 200 beds.

General Staff vacancies

  1. Private Secretary: Five posts (UR-4; OBC-1) at Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 44900-Rs. 142400.
    Age criteria: 18-30 years.
    Educational Qualifications: You should have a Degree from a recognized University. It would be desirable to have a Diploma or Certificate in Secretarial Practice from a recognized Institute.
    Skills: (i) Dictation - 7 Minutes@120WPM; (ii) Transcription - 45 Minutes English or 60 Minutes Hindi on a Computer. You should also have excellent written and spoken English and Hindi communication skills.

  2. Personal Assistant: Seven posts (UR-5; OBC-1; SC-1) at Level 6 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 35400-Rs. 112400.
    Age criteria: 18-30 years.
    Educational Qualifications: You should have a Degree from a recognized University. It is desirable to have a Diploma/Certificate in Secretarial Practice from a recognized Institute.
    Skills: (i) Dictation -10 Minutes@100WPM; (ii) Transcription - 40 Minutes English or 55 Minutes Hindi on a Computer. You must also have an excellent command over Hindi and English, both written and spoken.

  3. Assistant Store Officer: One post (UR) at Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 44900-Rs. 142400.
    Age criteria: 18-35 years.
    Educational Qualifications: You must have a Degree from a recognized University/Institution and a Postgraduate degree/Diploma in Material Management from a recognized University/Institution. Alternatively, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Material management from a recognized University/Institution along with three years of experience in store handling (preferably in medical stores).

Group C vacancies

  1. Medical Record Technician: 20 posts (UR-10; OBC-5; SC-3; ST-1; EWS-1 - including one post reserved for PwD and two for Ex-Servicemen) at Level 4 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 25500-Rs. 81100.
    Age criteria: 18-30 years.
    Educational Qualification: You must have a B.Sc. (Medical Records) Degree or 10+2 (Science) from a recognized board with at least 6-month Diploma/Certificate course in Medical Record-Keeping from a recognized Institute/University and 2 years of experience in Medical Record-Keeping in a Hospital Setup.
    Skills: You must have proficiency in computers with hands-on experience in office applications, spreadsheets, and presentations. You should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.

  2. Stenographer: 34 posts (UR-16; OBC-9; SC-4; ST-2; EWS-3 - including one reserved for PwD and three for Ex-Servicemen) at Level 4 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 25500-Rs. 81100).
    Age: 18-30 years.
    Educational Qualification: You should have passed Class 12 or have an equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
    Skills: (i) Dictation - 10 Minutes@80WPM; (ii)Transcription - 50 Minutes English or 65 Minutes Hindi on a Computer. Those with an excellent command over Hindi and English, both written and spoken, will be preferred.

Important Notes: As per a 2015 HRD Ministry's notification, the degrees/diplomas/certificates, including technical education degrees/diplomas which have been awarded through Open and Distance Learning Mode of education by recognized Universities/Institutions Deemed to be Universities will be recognized for the purpose of employment to posts and services under the Central Government provided they have been approved by UGC.

The date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate only will be accepted to determine the candidate's age and no subsequent request for change will be considered or granted. Refer to the official notification for age relaxation (the upper age limit is per the last date of the receipt of applications).

Application fee

Candidates have to pay the application fee in online mode only as per the category under which the application is submitted.
  1. For SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs. 200/-. Note: This will be refunded after deduction of Bank Charges as applicable when the candidate appears for the written exam.

  2. For women candidates: Rs.200/-. Note: This will be refunded after deduction of Bank Charges as applicable when the candidate appears for the written exam.

  3. For General, OBC and EWS categories: Rs.1,000/-. Note: This fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

The mode of payment is only online, via the payment gateway of AIIMS, Jodhpur, with the transaction/ processing fee, if any, as applicable to be paid to the bank by the candidate.



How to apply

Candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the requisite eligibility requirements before applying for any post. A candidate can apply for more than one post, in which case it is required to fill up the form for each post separately.

The application should be submitted in online mode only through registration at the official AIIMS Jodhpur website's recruitment section. Ensure that the image of your photo and the image of your signature is clearly visible in the preview page, as otherwise your application may be rejected.

You do not send any documents or the online application form to AIIMS Jodhpur. However, you must keep a print out of the completed and submitted online application form along with proof of payment (a Copy of challan/online payment receipt) for your record and if required later. If you are shortlisted on the basis of scores of the written test, you will need to produce the original certificates/documents as required, along with one set of the photocopy, duly self-attested. Refer to the official notification to know the list of requisite documents.

Note: You must bring along one photo Identity Proof in original such as Driving Licence, Voter Card, Aadhar Card, Passport or Income Tax Pan Card to the exam centre, without which you will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

On selection

Selected candidates will be on probation for two years. In case you are employed in Govt. Service, you must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' from the employer at the time of Document Verification and will require to produce a Relieving Certificate from the current employer at the time of joining AIIMS Jodhpur.

Last date of online submission of applications: 23rd April 2019 at 5 p.m.
