2019 Central Railway Summer Special Trains from Mumbai and Pune ticket bookings open


Searching for train timings of Pune to Ernakulam trains? Would you like to travel by train from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram? You could book a Central Railway ticket to Kochuveli railway station of Thiruvananthapuram city. There are also trains from Mumbai and Pune to Gorakhpur and Manduadih railway station of Varanasi and a train from Pune to Ernakulam, Kochi. This article provides the complete schedule of the CR summer trains to all these places.

Central Railway is operating a whopping 100 trains on special fares for the forthcoming summer season from April to the first week of July from the cities of Mumbai and Pune. Advanced reservations for the tickets for these trains have started on 28th March. Make sure you book your tickets early!

Summer trains from Mumbai

Mumbai to Gorakhpur

The superfast weekly trains from CST, Mumbai to Gorakhpur will make 26 trips between 12th April to 6th July 2019.

Train No.02009:
Dates: 12th April to 5th July on every Friday.
Departure: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai at 05.10hrs.
Arrival: Gorakhpur at 1210hrs on the next day.

Train No.02010
Dates: 13th April to 6th July on every Saturday
Departure: Gorakhpur at 14.40hrs.
Arrival: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai at 20.25hrs. on the next day.

Halts to and fro: Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Manmad, Bhusaval, Burhanpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Urai, Kanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda and Basti railway stations.

Composition: 11 Sleeper Class and 6 General Second Class coaches.



Mumbai to Manduadih

The weekly trains from LTT, Mumbai to Manduadih will make 24 trips from 17th April to 4th July 2019.

Train No.01025:
Dates: 17th April to 3rd July 2019 on Tuesday/Wednesday midnight.
Departure: From Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai at 00.45hrs. every Wednesday.
Arrival: Manduadih at 04.45hrs. the next day.

Train No. 02046:
Dates: 18th April to 4th July 2019.
Departure: From Manduadih at 06.30hrs. on every Thursday.
Arrival: Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai at 07.30hrs. on the next day.

Halts to and fro: Kalyan, Igatpuri, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad and Gyanpur railway stations.

Composition: 13 AC-3 Tier Coaches.

Mumbai to Kochuveli

Weekly special trains will make 16 trips from 15th April to 4th June 2019 between CST station, Mumbai and Kochuveli.

Train No.01065:
Dates: 15th April to 3rd June 2019 every Monday.
Departure: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai at 11.05hrs.
Arrival: Kochuveli at 18.40hrs on the next day.

Train No.01066:
Dates: 16th April to 4th June 2019 every Tuesday.
Departure: Kochuveli at 23.00hrs.
Arrival: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai at 08.20hrs. on Thursday.

Halts to and fro: Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambik Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki, Surathkal, Mangalore Jn., Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur Jn., Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Jn. Shertalai, Allepey, Kayamkulam and Kollam railway stations.

Composition: 11 Sleeper Class and 6 General Second Class coaches.

Summer trains from Pune

Pune to Gorakhpur

Weekly specials will run from 7th April to 2nd July 2019 with 26 trips between Pune and Gorakhpur.

Train No.01475:
Dates: 7th April to 30th June 2019 on every Sunday.
Departure: From Pune at 19.55hrs.
Arrival: Gorakhpur at 04.30hrs on the third day.

Train No. 01476:
Dates: 9th April to 2nd July 2019 on every Tuesday.
Departure: From Gorakhpur at 07.25hrs.
Arrival: Pune at 17.00hrs. on the next day.

Halts to and fro: Daund, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Urai, Kanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda and Basti railway stations.

Composition: 12 Sleeper class and 5 General Second class.

Pune to Manduadih

Weekly specials will run from 11th April to 29th June 2019 with 24 trips between Pune and Manduadih.

Train No.01497:
Dates: 11th April to 27th June 2019.
Departure: From Pune at 21.30hrs. on every Thursday.
Arrival: Manduadih at 03.25hrs. on the third day.

Train No.01498:
Dates: 13th April to 29th June 2019 on every Saturday.
Arrival: Pune at 12.00hrs. on the next day.

Halts to and fro: Daund, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad and Gyanpur railway stations.

Pune to Ernakulam

Humsafar AC Weekly Summer Specials will make 16 trips from 15th April to 5th June 2019 between Pune and Ernakulam Jn.

Train No.01467:
Dates: 15th April to 3rd June 2019 every Monday.
Departure: Pune at 19.55hrs.
Arrival: Ernakulam Jn. At 01.30hrs. on Wednesday.

Train No.01468:
Dates: 17th April to 5th June 2019 every Wednesday.
Departure: Ernakulam Jn. At 03.45hrs.
Arrival: Pune at 12.25hrs. on the next day.

How to book tickets

Bookings for the summer special trains have already opened at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) locations. you can also book online at the official IRCTC e-Ticketing websitewhere you need to open an account, log in and book your tickets.

Tickets for the General Second Class coaches of the summer special trains will run as unreserved coaches and these tickets can be booked through UTS system. For reserved seats, you must carry a valid photo ID proof.

There are also special summer trains heading to Delhi, Gandhidham, Indore and Mangalore on the Western Railway lines. Have a safe trip! In case of any problems during your journey, you can contact the Security Helpline Number 182. The All India Passenger Helpline Number is 138.
