Tulip Garden Srinagar was opened in 2007 by the then Chief Minister of J&K, Ghulam Nabi Azad to boost the tourism and floriculture industry in the state.

Tulip festival (Bahar-e-Kashmir) is celebrated every year with the onset of the spring season to showcase the wide range of flowers in the Garden. Food stalls, craft items, and kiosks are installed to show the traditional culture and cuisine of Kashmir valley. Even (Aalmi Mushaira) a cultural show is organized at the festival. The festival lasts for about 15 days from 1 April. The beautiful garden blooms with Hyacinths, Narcissus, Daffodils, Muscaria, and Iris during the spring season. Tulip Garden is About 9 km from Srinagar airport. One can easily get Taxis, Auto-rickshaws and even buses are also available for the visitors to reach Tulip Garden from Srinagar airport. The entry fee to the Garden is INR 50-100.
