    Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from any institution recognized by the Central Government is a must to be eligible for SBI Clerk 2019. Even candidates who are in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply for this post, only if they are able to produce the degree certificate on or before 31st August 2019.

    Age limit: 20-28 years, as on 1/4/2019.

    Age relaxation: A certain category of candidates are given relaxation. Here are the details:

    SBI Clerk Online Application Process


    Step 1: Visit https://ibpsonline.ibps.in/sbijascapr19 and click on the "New Registration" button at the topmost right corner of the page.

    Step 2: Start the application process by providing your name, contact number, address, email id, etc. Click on save and next.

    Step 3: Upload your photograph and signature. The size of the photograph must be 4.5 cm by 3.5 cm, in white background and the file size should be in between 20 KB to 50 KB. The file size of the signature must be in between 10 KB to 20 KB.

    Step 4: In the next step, you will have to fill in your educational details and professional qualifications.

    Step 5: Click on the preview option to get an overview of the form. After making the changes (if any), click on the save and next.

    Step 6: Pay the application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking.

    Step 7: Click on the submit button. You will get a mail on your registered ID, containing your registration number and password.

    Prerequisites for filling SBI Clerk 2019


  • A candidate must have with him/her the photograph and signature in the mentioned size and format before filling the form.

  • Candidates must be in possession of a valid email ID and a working contact number before registering for SBI Clerk 2019.

  • All the necessary educational and bank documents must be kept handy while filling the form.


  • SBI Clerk selection procedure in a nutshell


    The selection procedure consists of two exams - Prelims and Mains.

    Preliminary exam: This test consists of 100 MCQ questions covering the sections of English Language (30 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (35 questions) and Reasoning (35 questions). Each question carries +1 if asked correctly and a penalty of -.25 is levied for every incorrect question. Candidates are given 60 minutes to complete the test.

    Mains: This test consists of 190 MCQ questions covering the sections of Data Interpretation and Analysis (50 questions ), General English (40 questions), Banking and Financial Awareness (50 questions), and Reasoning Ability (50 questions). Each question carries +1 if answered correctly and a penalty of -.25 is levied for every incorrect question. Candidates are given 2 hours 40 minutes to complete the test.
