The School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala established in the year 1989 invites application for 5 Year BBA LLB (Hons) Programme for the academic year 2019-20. This program consists of 10 semesters of which each semester includes 6 papers. The total number of seats will be 40. The other details are mentioned below.

Age limit

  • General category : Candidates below 20 years of age as on 1st July of the year concerned can apply for this program
  • SC/ST : Candidates below 21 years of age as on 1st July of the year concerned are eligible to apply here

Eligibility

  • General category : Candidates who have scored not less than 50% marks in aggregate in Higher Secondary or +2 Examination recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University or any other examination recognized as equivalent are eligible to apply for this program
  • SC/ST : Candidates who have scored not less than 45% marks in aggregate in Higher Secondary or +2 Examination recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University or any other examination recognized as equivalent can apply for this program.

Selection process

Selection of students is based on the marks secured in the Entrance Test conducted by School of Indian Legal Thought. The date and timing will be announced in the admission card. This test will be of 2 hours duration that carries 100 marks and is intended to test the Language Skills, General Knowledge as well as Logical Reasoning of the candidates.

Are final year students eligible to apply?

Yes, those who are awaiting final year results can also apply provided they should produce their mark lists at the time of admission.

Registration fees

  • General candidates : Rs 660/-
  • SC/ST candidates : They need to pay only 50% of the registration fee.

How to pay the registration fees?

You can pay through online payment mode that is available in the University website. The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

Documents to be submitted along with application form

You need to produce self-attested copies of documents to prove age/qualification/caste and other relevant certificates along with the application form. The original documents need to be produced only at the time of interview/admission. If you have qualified from Boards (excluding CBSE and ICSE) outside Kerala State, then you need to produce eligibility/recognition certificate from this University at the time of admission. But if you have qualified from Boards (including CBSE and ICSE), then you need to produce Migration Certificate from parent Board at the time of admission.

The filled up applications along with Registration Fee (e-payment Receipt), documents and a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 5/-) envelope (22 cm x 10 cm) should be forwarded to the below address before 17 May 2019.
