National Board of Examinations NBE was established by the government of India to improve the quality of the Medical Education by conducting the entrance examinations of a high standard on all India basis. NBE conducts examinations such as NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, NEET-SS, PDCET, FMGE.
About NEET-SS 2019
National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) NEET-SS 2019 is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to super specialty courses like DM, MCh courses in all private medical institutions/ colleges/ universities/ deemed university or armed forces medical service institutions. Qualifying NEET-SS is mandatory for admission into DM/ MCh courses in any university or institute in the country. There is no other entrance examination for admission to the DM/ MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 2016. Candidates who have secured 50% or more in the NEE-SS examination are declared as qualified.
NEET-SS 2019 is a computer-based examination which is held on 28th June 2019. The duration of the examination is 3 hours 30 minutes. Candidates need to bring the following list of documents to the exam center:

NEET-SS 2019 consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions in which, 40% of questions (Part A) will be from the eligible feeder board specialty courses and 60% of questions (Part B) will be from the super specialty course which is selected by the candidate at the time of submission of online application. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded and for an incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
Candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) 2019 Examination:
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at website: "www.nbe.edu.in" from 8th May 2019. The last date to submit applications for NEET-SS 2019 is 28th May 2019. Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 3750/- online itself through Credit card/ Debit card/ Internet banking. At the time of online application submission, candidates can choose a maximum of 2 super specialty courses for which his/ her board specialty qualification is eligible. Candidates can choose their exam city on first to come first serve basis through the online registration system.
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) conducts the common counseling for all the seats of NEET-SS at a national level. The First round of counseling will be done by 21st July 2019 and second round of counseling will be conducted by 20th August 2019
